  1. well, considering Gronk was a rookie last year, and Graham has played only two years, they havent had alot of opportunity. But it is a certainty that Gronk was a HUGE part of the Pats getting to the Super Bowl last year

Fleener is no where near those two though even with Luck at QB
  2. Listen Fleener is like Dallas Clark more of a in the slot TE hes not the Inline TE that we need to help with the running agame etc. We can get a TE next year or later on in the draft. You all have this obession with Fleener because of Luck. Fleener wasnt even the best TE at Stanford.

  3. They are virtually the same size, both are quick, and they will occupy the same position/s on the field. How do we know for sure Freeney can't play every LB position in the 3-4? Maybe he will excel in the 3-4, maybe he won't. We won't know for sure til the season starts. Upshaw woulld be depth at this point and using a high 2nd rder on a depleted team shouldn't be drafting for depth that high. Like I said though, Im all for dumping Freeney and his ridiculous contract, at least it would make some sense then.

Upshaw has shown he can do it and drop back in coverage aswell not sure Freeney would be comfortable in coverage out in space. Also he wouldnt be depth because we dont really have ILBs familiar in the 3-4
  4. I am very torn on this.

I probably will be happy with several picks coming up. We can't go wrong IMO.

I think it might be Upshaw or Fleener.

It does make me wonder though why Harbaugh did not pick Fleener. Unless he is doing his boy Luck a favor. ;)

I can't make my mind up.

He didnt pick him and the Giants didnt either because hes overrated
  5. Making the same post 1000 times won't make it come true.

I don't want Upshaw, my gut says no to him, I know I'm in the minority but he just seems like Mr. Average to me. I'd be good with Glenn, Fleener, or Hill.

Fleener would be Mr Average wasnt even the best TE on his team
  6. Don't get the Upshaw pick unless they are just gonna dump Freeney(which I would be fine with). They are essentially the same player except Upshaw is younger of course. Rather have Glenn and I think I would rather have Fleener over Upshaw.

How are they the same? Upshaw can play every lb position in a 3-4
  7. The biggest question I have with Fleener, is he that much better than the other TEs or is it just because of where he played? If he is an excellent blocker and receiver than it might be worth it. But usually you can find solid TE talent in the 4th round.

    Hes not a good blocker
  8. Speaking of criticism out of the blue...what do you guys think of this one from Paul Kuharsky's AFC South blog?

“I like Anthony Castonzo better at right tackle, he’s not a true left tackle to me. But there won’t be one of those at 34.”

Ijalana looked really good at LT last year I hope they give them all a shot at different positions and see which one works better. Im not worried about Castonzo heck be good probably better RT than LT but good at both
  9. Since when did the Pats passing on a player become the barometer of what another team should do?

A team that needs a corner and in the past hasnt had a problem taking or bringing in a guy with flaws passes on one thats so "talented" its a huge RED flag. Also scouts and NFL teams are getting away from Jenkins only fans want him for their teams.
