  1. Adam Schefter is usually right, no surprise here obviously but it was a bit relieving to see it.

I still won't be 100% convinced till next thursday when his name is called "With the first pick of the 2012 Nfl Draft, The Indianapolis Colts pick Quarterback, Stanford, Andrew Luck"

    Let the Luck Era begin.

  2. Idk what fans your talking about even NFL players say the Seahawks have the better jersey out of all. I'd love for the colts to look like Oregon they'd look good while playing, and you may not care about fans like that but colts marketing sure do.

The seahawks players are the ones saying they love it...And the fans, here is their reaction in the Seahawks forums: Edit Lots of complaints, rarely a "I like em" post. Oregon jerseys are cool, if you want to look like a clown. I'm sorry but the bright colors and weird feathers(there are also feathers on the seahawks jerseys) are just terrible looking. People usually buy jerseys based on the team they are fans of, not because it looks cool(I know some people do, not most though). I've looked at most of the new jerseys and Seahawks are the only ones that really had a change, the panthers a little bit, but Seahawks were definitely the biggest change, and most are complaining.

  3. I went to that card show on saturday I posted about earlier and met RG3. My dad asked him if he knew he was going to be a Redskin ofcourse he gave the political answer and said no but he smiled and gave us a wink. Also a guy in front of me had a colts helmet to get signed his agent said he would not be signing any memorabilia other than Baylor and Redskins items. I know alot of people don't want the Colts to draft him but he has an aura about him I can't explain it and he was super nice he dapped me up thanked me for coming he even stayed 2 hours past to sign everyones stuff. Im gonna attach a picture so you guys dont think I'm B.S.'ing you when I get off work today. I also tweeted Dan Graham @coltsinsider I asked him to give a percentage of the Colts drafting Luck here was his tweet back to me.

    Dan Graham@coltsinsider

@PeachOmania 100% #Colts are taking Andrew Luck with the 1st overall pick in the #NFL Draft.

Sweet, sounds like it's a for sure that he will be a Redskin and Colts will get Luck, especially after RG3 declining to do a private workout with the Colts. I think Luck fits the Colts and RG3 fits the Redskins system better. It will work out great for both organizations, RG3 sounds like a nice guy and he's a great football player, I just think a lot of fans were "ok" with us cutting Manning because of Luck, not because of RG3. It would be detrimental to the fans if we picked RG, just saying. I'm just happy that we are the ones getting Luck.

  4. The jerseys are a bland compared to the seahawks jerseys... just like ppl go to one church because the building is beautiful its the same with uniforms... could have attracted more fans with a new patent or design.

"Bland" is not a bad thing...did you see those new Seahawks Jerseys? LOL! they look ridiculous, even their fans hate them. And I don't want to attract fans based on what our jersey looks like.

That being said, I like em. They didn't change them that much and that's a good thing, who really wants to look like Oregon?

  5. I'm actually happy this happened. I don't want to question the fact that we may be drafting RG3. I think they both, Luck and RG3, will be good, and both fit the systems better, Luck-colts, RG3-redskins. Mike Shanahan will love to work with RG and Luck has been called many times "the next Manning" even before the Colts had the 1st pick. I'm extremely excited to see the new Colts team next year with Luck. I was getting worried of the chance that we may pick RG instead, but this pretty much rests that worry(I hope lol).

  6. Another clue is RG3 this saturday is doing an autograph signing in Chantilly VA 10 minutes away from redskins park and a few days ago the website announced that RG3 has agreed to sign Redskins items and if your a collector that goes to these card shows you know that doesnt happen usually if a draft pick does a signing before the draft all they will sign is theyre college teams memorabilia. So I think the majority of Colts fans and Skins fans will be happy.

awesome, thanks for the info. It's just frustrating knowing that it seems set it stone, but at the same time there is a chance that Irsay/Grigs/PAgs go on a limb and go with RG instead, I hope not, but it's a possibility lol. Thinking about this "possibility" is going to kill me over the next 29 days lol.

  7. :censored: , I figured he would resign since it's been a while since the start of free agency. I would like to see a FA pick-up for NT, but I guess if we really think we can get someone in Draft, I hope it works out...like you said, if not it will be a "struggle".
  8. I just want to hurry up and sign Luck, I hate even thinking we would pass on him for RG3. Even though I think both will be successful in the NFL and great, I just believe Luck fits our system better and RG3 fits Redskins(Shanahan) system better. It's a great situation for both teams, now let the Luck Era begin.

  9. I hope we are smart and pick Luck...there is no reason to pick RG3>Luck but there are reasons to pick Luck>RG3. Luck is 2 inches taller, had more consistent seasons, no injury problems(Rg3 had a torn ACL his sophomore year), And Hodge is saying he likes RG3 better just because it's the new thing, Luck has been the top prospect for 2 straight years, RG3 is a latebloomer. Luck is the obvious pick and I think if fans are mad about Manning leaving, even more would be angered by drafting RG3 trying to shock the world...Luck is the man for the job, now just pick him.

  10. This was my fear...the start of talks about the Colts drafting RG3 over Luck...I'm sorry but you take Luck, this is no question in my mind. Luck is taller and bigger and more proven, RG3 has really only had one good season and has had Injury issues. Luck is the obvious pick, RG3 was mock drafted at 5, then 2 after redskins trade and now some are saying #1??? No! RG3 is the definition of a late bloomer. We gave up Peyton for Luck, not RG3, that's how I see it.

  11. Tebow is a distraction...the last thing the Colts need right now. He is terrible at playing football and just frustrates the organization he is with. Elway jumped onto the Manning train to get rid of Tebow...no one wants him. If I owned an NFL team, you couldn't pay me to put him on my roster...

  12. I think it's a good thing that he's athletic and gets away from defenders to make plays. Looking from one receiver to the next is something Luck could easily do more if asked or if it seemed that was the better way. I think he's good that he does both, uses his legs and his eyes to move defenders, 2 methods is better than 1 lol. Look what Cam Newton did this year haha.

  13. This guy? God some of you are bitter.

Well, I removed that before you responded, but I didn't even mean it like that but I figured someone would make some comment like you did, especially a user with the name "Mannings the man". I'm more just mad cause now my best friend's team has Manning and I have to deal with the abuse for years to come...if Manning is what he used to be,

  14. I love this pick-up. During the Lockout he made a professional boxing debut in Madison Square Garden and knocked him out in 49 seconds. Love the pick-ups by Grigs/Pags, putting together a really exciting team. Can't wait to see the new Colts debut!

  15. I would LOVE to see Brandon Lloyd here in Indy. The only problem I have with it is his size, with Reggie Wayne and Collie as our current receivers I think we need a big receiver(6'3+). B Lloyd has great hands and as far as I know the teams that are interested were Patriots and the Rams still.

  16. Please...this is the last thing I want to think about...And what's with the comparison's of RG3 and Cam Newton??? RG3 is just over 6'2, 220lbs Cam newton is 6'5, 250lbs. Cam Newton was great cause of his size, you see him play in Charlotte?(I live in Charlotte and watched almost every game this year).

RG3 reminds me of Leaf the more I think about it and I can't see us passing on Luck...RG3 wasn't even close to Luck in the draft order till recently, he was projected at 5 in some earlier mock drafts. I think we would regret not taking Luck...I just want the Draft to get here so I can stop thinking of the "What if's"...

The risk is higher on RG3 with less reward in my opinion, I see Luck as the only decision, it's not even a question...
