I personally can't wait to see Cunningham play, he is already the best blocking TE the Colts have, I see them using him primarily coming out of the backfield similar to the way they used Allen last year.
Cunningham will be just as good of a blocker as Saunders with a better ability to go down the field and catch. He's not afraid to be in traffic. I saw some of his catches last year at USC and he's not afraid to go up and get em while getting mauled by a defender. He seemed to always come down with the ball. I personally hope he wins the camp battle or dare I say Gamecock Fight.

Cunningham wont beat out Saunders
I think he could...well at least hope he does.

As a DE, who cares what your 40 time is? When are they ever gonna ask you to go on a 40 yard sprint? Game speed and 40 speed are two different things, all that matters is how quickly you explode off the ball, and the tape shows this kid is always the first one off the ball
Agreed, game speed is everything. He jumps off the tape. I remember looking up Tank Carradine and seeing Bjoern dominating. Not that mock drafts matter at all, people didn't expect him to last this late. Teams will regret it.
Doesn't hurt he has a great personality and will be a fan favorite.

My favorite pick is Bjoern. The more I watch of him, the more I love this pick. It's unbelievable he got to us at #24, but I couldn't be happier. I'm sure the Colts have a lot more fans across the ocean now. He really wants to be great and that's what sticks out the most. He may not be the fastest 40 runner but look at the tape, he doesn't play like a 4.8. He is still learning the game and Pagano/Mathis will be great teachers.
I like Sproles Jr too though.

ESPN Grades AFC South next...here we go lol
-
NFL.com, ESPN.com, BleacherReport.com, etc, etc, etc.
I've learned to resist the urge to read that site anymore. The amount of *ic posts/information on there is ridiculous. I recommend you ignore BR as much as possible lol.
-
If anyone cares, right now on ESPN they are doing a "Sportscenter Special" grading all of the teams in the draft. Jaws, Mel Kiper, Todd McShay, and Herm are the ones discussing it. I don't believe they have done AFC South though(I've only seen AFC West/NFC West/AFC East so far.
Now don't expect good grades from media for our draft. It was a flashy draft, but we got a lot of needs. People are claiming we didn't address pass rush?? What was that Werner pick for? lol And with the O-Line upgrades, Luck will have much more time. Yes I know we missed on some bigger names but after looking up these players I'm excited. They all LOVE football more than anything else, which I think matters a lot to our staff.
It always seems that people act as if we were just a one-hit wonder team because of Pagano's illness...I'm sick of that

Vontae is one of my favorite players on the team. He plays so aggressive and a tackler CB is so hard to find nowadays. He wraps em up and gets em on the ground. It would be hard for me to take any CB in the entire draft over Vontae.

Brats, Beer and German Beergirls sounds like the makings of an awesome tailgate
-
That's awesome. Love the HUGH HUGH HUGH chants lol.
Dude looks built though. From what I've read over the past 12 hours on him he seems to be an absolute mauler. He's been through a lot in his life and plays with that anger on the field. And above all he LOVES football as does Werner. I think that's very important to Grigs&Co.
-
He did seem very happy to come to the Colts though. He said he had Freeney/Mathis on his madden team. I need to get Bjoern's PSN name.
Maybe we can draft another German with our Mr.Irrelevant pick lol then he will have someone to talk german with.

I would like Lattimore, Patton, or Jesse Williams. I would be happy with any of them. I'd even be happy with Stephan Taylor too.
-
Marcus Lattimore or Keenan Allen
-
I would love this pick if he drops that far to us. I would also like Marcus Lattimore too though but that may be an option in 4th.
-
I LOVE this pick.
-
I'd be happy with Jones, too. I'm a fan of both. Nothing personal against the DE's we've got, who play hard and can play solid football, but the prospect of us getting a difference-maker kind of talent at the position is one I (and our LB's) don't want to see pass us by. That's why I still wouldn't rule the position out in round 1 even with the big contract we signed RJF to.
I feel the same way. DE is such an important position nowadays but to be honest....
I really want a certain OLB with the last name Jones(Jarvis) to fall to us, I really like a player that falls based on combine yet his on-field play is totally different. He's an absolute force and think he could be a leader for this defense. He's a football player above all and that's what I ultimately care about, not their 40-yd dash.

There will always be bandwagon fans look at the Miami heat fans the pats have alot of bandwagon fans too cause they have recently won alot one team Ik that has the most loyal fans is the browns those fans have a horrible team every year and they are still there lol
I have a friend that's a browns fan...also one that's a bengals fan, I always tell them how much I respect them for that lol.
-
This list is ridiculous lol. Percy Harvin @2?!, Crabtree above Larry and Julio?!?! Hilton all the way down at 71? I guess cause of drops but the guy made a huge impact on our team.
I really feel if a player is either the seahawks or 49ers right now, you are going to be overranked. Hawks is the new bandwagon team of the NFL it seems.
-
The Colts are also looking at Alec Ogletree possibly in the first round which I also agree with. He's a great pass rusher.
source?

I loved the super bowl year, but this year was really something. People didn't expect us to do anything and we went to the playoffs with a rookie QB. The 7 comebacks...all of the rookies coming up big...seeing our new era's beginning after an emotional offseason. I've never been so excited about the future of our team.
-
I wouldn't be too upset with this pick but I'd rather Datone Jones based on what I've seen.

Here's a link for the whole interview:

Really glad we got him and he seems to be accepting his role as a "caddy" pretty well.
Also really like what he said about our playbook and what Pep was telling the team. "No-Coast Offense". I'm excited already.

Updated at colts.com roster.
LaRon Landry 30
DIRTY 30!

I like Justin Hunter and Allen the most myself. I really think Hunter will be the best out of this class, he has size and speed, only red flag is his knee injury from 2 years ago. It'd be nice to have a receiver >6'0 who can go up and get the ball, like an AJ Green or Julio Jones type.
Happy Birthday to Pat McAfee
