I don't want Okafor, I haven't heard very flattering things about him. Im copying this from another thread in this section. This was from national football post.....
Mike Mayock said some things about him that were less than flattering. I don't have a link because I heard him on NFL Network and I can't remember word for word what he said, but he basically said that Okafor lacks edge rushing speed to play a DE in a 4-3 and he lacked coverage abilities and didn't tackle well enough to be an OLBer in a 3-4.
WOW. Just... just wow

I think we need to take an offensive lineman. But I think the kid from BYU could be a home run. The kid is so raw with only playing three years of football. Every good team has a leader on each side. Dwight will be gone Robert doesn't say much. Ziggy could be an All-Pro inside of three years.
I've watched some of Ansah, and I did like him, but he needs work at his stamina. I was hoping a track star wouldn't need help in that area. He also doesn't give it his all every play, but I think he'll work at these two things the most leading up to the combine and after the draft, so I'd have no problem taking him.

Alex Okafor if we don't get Kruger or Spencer in FA. If we do get one of them, then either trade down, or maybe get Shariff Floyd or Xavier Rhodes.

I don't think this is great.... but, it's not terrible. I've seen worse....
Just wanted to put it out there so everyone has an idea of some of the free (non premium/insider) type information that's out there.....

Don't have much of a problem with this one.

Ryan Clady. He could be Luck's version of Tarik Glenn. Long shot but, that's my #1.
Ryan Clady would be everyone's #1, but unless Elway forgot that his all-star quarterback fairly recently came off of 4 neck surgeries, he'll do anything he can to keep that boy.

Warmack won't fall to 24, Jordan doesn't have the pass rush capability, and I am not a fan of John Hankins. Some prospects likely to fall down to 24 worth taking a look at would be: Sharrif Floyd, Sheldon Richardson, and John Cooper. IMO I would like to see us trade down to Cinci for 37 overall, round 3, and round 5. Cinci would only be losing 3rd and 5th round pick to move up to 24 overall. Then we could go (my wishlist):
Round 2: Larry Warford - OG
Round 3 (from Cinci): Brandon Jenkins - OLB
Round 3: Duke Williams - S
Round 4: Micah Hyde - CB
Round 5: Kwame Geathers - NT
Round 6: Ricky Wagner - OT
Round 7: Dan Buckner - WR
Comp Picks: Fill OL and DL.
*This is all considering some of the right moves have been made in Free Agency.
My FA Signing wishlist: Vollmer (RT), Vasquez/Levitre/Thomas (OG), Williams (CB), and Byrd/Goldson/Reed (S)
Definitely a very good wish list, and yet, still possible

Man, I was a big advocate of the 'Get Paul Kruger' movement. But 40mil is a lot of cash to give up on a guy that had one good season, especially when we have quite a few holes left to fill. If we can get him cheaper then great, but otherwise I'd turn my attention further towards Anthony Spencer.
Me too exactly

Sheldon Richardson. Hes the best value pick since he should go top 15. And he fits great at 3-4 DE.
I do think if Richardson falls to us somehow that we should definitely grab him. I think the other players that would fall to us around that area would be Okafor, Trufant, possibly Banks, and Rhodes (bit of a reach, maybe). Of course, what we do in the draft depends on what we do in Free Agency. I expect GM Grigson to go big after O-line and Pagano could bring his former OLB Kruger to Indi. It's also crossed my mind that Pagano might try to draft players to replicate the defensive personnel he had in Baltimore, but I don't see any players reminding me of Haloti Ngata, Terrell Suggs, Ray Lewis, or Ed Reed (maybe some with Kenny Vacarro or Matt Elam).

I agree. I actually think if all else fails (Richardson, Ansah, maybe Hankins) we should take Sharrif Floyd from Florida. He played DT AND DE in a 4-3 defense, which evens out to a DE in a 3-4. He's got a high motor and great burst, not to mention bull strength along with quick feet and good recognition. The only thing he needs to work on is some technique, mainly his pad level. But I believe he is a great mid to late 1st round prospect who Pagano's gonna try to talk GM Grigson into grabbing.
