Darren was signed to the PS one day after he was released from the active roster. Doesn't mean he's gone. They also brought in the Stevie Brown in to help out with the Bullitt situation. Never been a big fan od Bullitt, IMO he's a backup at best. I respect what he's done for the Colts but I feel by next year he will have been replaced.
Again, I rest my case about Mark Barron.
-
As a total the backs and the receivers are justified, but I think Carter and Addai both earned an A- if only from the first half, since we didn't hardly run in the second.
-
Hopefully Manning (and yourself!) feel better soon. Best wishes to you on your recovery, Kyle!

I think these professional athletes are and have been working plenty hard. I don't really think there's another level to go to as far as preparation and practice are concerned. Really, if we just execute better on three or four plays Sunday, we could have won. Being mad isn't going to help Melvin Bullitt contain outside on Peyton Hillis. It isn't going to help Kerry Collins throw the ball in front of his receiver on a quick slant. It won't help our punt coverage.
I just think all this talk about attitude and demeanor is irrelevant. We're one of the most composed teams in league, which is why we've been able to come back 17 points in the fourth quarter, and why we've been one of the least penalized teams, etc. We get by on execution. And that's what's been lacking in the first two games.
That's true. Still though, if I was playing and I was mad, I would want to level every person in my way. But I guess that's why I'm not a professional. My $0.02.

My favorite cheerleader was Lauren G from the last few years. She was my biology teacher's daughter and was her mom's sub teacher a few times. She was a cool sub lol
-
Our drafting in the late rounds is good. But when it comes to dealing with guys who can make immediate impacts, we can't draft at all.
-
Being mad won't necessarily make you win games directly, but it will motivate you to work harder to win games.

We have no evidence at the professional level that he's better than Brown. If you say pre-season, you deserve a thread to yourself where you get laughed at the entire time.
Preseason he was good, sure. But he played well enough to earn a roster spot. That is what preseason is for. To find out who is best for the TEAM. You can't say the team isn't based on preseason because it IS. You can't just bring 75 people into a camp and after a day cut it down to 53. Brown never got off the ground, and Evans has all the potential in the world. This was the dumbest decision I've seen in a while.
-
I threw my remote at my TV when the Colts picked Donald Brown over Chris Wells. I was called stupid when Brown outperformed Wells their rookie year, but who's laughing now? Not me, I'm still mad.

I am quickly losing all faith in Coyer's ability to be creative at all. Seems like he's just going thru the motions.
I am just losing faith in the playcalls and the people in charge of cuts.
-
Delone Carter was getting it done. No clue why we stopped running, but it cost us the game.
-
I cannot believe we cut Evans. He is good on ST and hes a better runner than Brown. Bill Polian, go * yourself.
-
I wonder if anyone gave Jeff Garcia a call? Did I miss him getting signed to another team or something? Someone with a little more mobility *and* that makes solid decisions with the football seems like it would have been a better direction.
Doesn't he play for the Omaha UFL team?
-
lol,he is one of my starters and turner from atlanta. But he is the type that hurts us,very physical runner.
My fantasy guys are Hillis and Mendenhall, so I have a couple of great weeks in succession.

or
"Tim-my Teb-ow, tap, tap, tap tap tap"

We are just too passive to have the quality of players we do. If our coordinator would call aggressive plays at the right time, we could get away with it.
-
Mendenhall will get a 150yards and 2td's.It will be a tough night.
I hope not, but he will help me out tremendously in fantasy.

Never thought I'd say this, but I want CP to start. I mean, who are we to criticize him for not playing well, in his FIRST game, vs the BEST PASS D in the league, when we were playing our PS and they were starting their Pro Bowlers? That ruined the career he MIGHT have had.
-
He's right too. I went to camp several times before the season and Pat was routinely drilling them from 70-75 yds. out.
Makes me proud to be the owner of a Patty Mac jersey
-
I didn't mean give him the job right now. lol I do think if we are out of Adam's range or have the game in hand then give him a shot.
I know, I'm not totally stupid. lol I love Vinny and wish him more successful years kicking.

1070 the fan said it was Darren Evans.
I want to go shoot someone. ^^^
-
Bullitt is one of the better strong side safeties in the league. He has good knowledge and good tackling skills, but like someone else said, the only guy who could possibly tackle Hillis on a semi-consistent basis is Troy Polamalu.
-
Ijalana definitely needs a shot.
-
I'd like to see him play on ST. We definitely need ST help.

Good luck proving anything, Goodell. Just implement something where if someone gets hurt and comes out, he has to stay out for the drive.
Yes, this is the post of the week. Maybe of the month!
