Right now, the spread is the Packers by 7 1/2. Going to put a hundred on the Packers to cover. GB 34 Colts 17.

Are they, what?

I miss Electric Football
Is that the game where the players randomly vibrated around the field?

It's not only "all but out" , it's about .9999999999% that he doesnt play Sunday. When a player is feeling sick Friday with concussion like symtoms , it's just a matter of symatics between doubtful and out.
Soooo, what you're saying is; "there's still a chance."

Baltimore: Jones, Unitas, Mackey, Lenny Moore, Raymond Chester
Indy: Manning, Marv, Reggie, Dickerson, Bob,

Hammer may have suffered a concussion too, because he doesn`t have a Clue!
I already have 1 warning point, so anyone who laughs at their own *ic post, probably isn't worth the second.

Sadly, it's time to let him go. He's going to be another one of those; 'If only', players.
-
I remember a little bit about that team. George Blanda was their QB. They also had a fullback named Charley Tolar, aka, "The human cannonball."

Bob was my favorite Colts defender ever, slightly ahead of Freeney.
Without Bob we never would have won the Super Bowl.
Bob was my favorite too. I know this is 'Bob' thread but I think we should also mention that Rob Morris finally replaced Gilbert Gardner about the same time as Bob's return. Morris played great during the SB run as well.

Where ya at, Bav?

My nephew just got off the phone with Directv. He told them, "I've been a loyal customer for 5 years and never been offered any kind of deal. I want to terminate my subscription now and I'll sign up again later so I can get your new customer deal....They ended up giving him the package this year for free!!! YES!!!!! We thought about asking for an Evil Knievel pinball machine but decided not to press our luck..

HMMMM! Since all the good jokes are taken....Curtis Painter tweeted the Ravens Signed Shirley's best friend Nosaj LaVerne!
I guess it does not hurt to have size a some versatility!!!
What????? LaVerne and Shirley, both got picked up?!?

I had a nightmare last night about bad grammar.
Consider yourself lucky, it was only one night!

I fly the American Flag every day and night....yes, it is illuminated at night. I fly the Colts flag on game day.

Bert Jones, followed by Peyton, John Mackey, and Unitas.
-
What a year that was!! Bert and the Colts gave Colts fans a lot of great memories for 3 years running.....If only Bert hadn't gotten hurt. One minute in John "the voice of God" Facenda starts narrating.
When I was young, his was the voice I heard when I thought about football and this short video is a reminder that Bert Jones was another great one for the boys in blue.

Over. In fact, I'm putting money where my mouth is. Predict an 8-8 season.

I just remember my dad saying it was a good thing the game wasn't close or go into OT because a lot go people would have still been there.
Your Dad was absolutely right.

Yup, it was the Steelers. We lost to the Steelers again and the Raiders the next 2 years to end the run. The plane crashed 'IN' Memorial Stadium.
I just remembered, the plane crashed in '76 because the '75 game was in Pitt..
-
Loved Bert Jones! Did we lose to the Steelers in the playoffs? I don't know if it was that year but I do remember that after the Steelers game a small plane crashed near the stadium.

Probably not the greatest but I like to think about Bert Jones' '75 Colts. They were 2-12 in '74 and were 1-4 to start the '75 season but won their last 9 games to finish 10-4 and win the division.

I have Dish Network, which only offers the NFL Red Zone. Sadly, this TV Program only displays touchdown highlights. For a real fan of grid iron smash mouth football, it really blows.
I fill the void with XM Sirus Satellite Radio. The best games are when it is shown on Dish & I get to down the volume on my TV & listen to Bob Lamey through my Sirus digital stereo unit. It's just like chilling in Lucas Oil Stadium baby!!! No lines, no traffic, just great play by play formation & execution analysis pure & simple.
My nephew has had the NFL Ticket for 5 years and has remodeled his garage into the ultimate Colts cave. We always have 8-12 Colts fans for every game. The only thing missing has been listening to Lamey do the live play by play. Will no longer be missing. Thanks for the idea!

Late December may not be the best time for a game in KC, but we'll be there.

I saw the Bears mentioned a few times. Where did that come from?
Yet no one mentioned he Steelers, who knocked out the 05 Colts(best team in the Manning era) out of the playoffs. The dirty steelers also knocked out Captain Comeback out of the playoffs
Not to mention, a couple of times in the mid-seventies.

Happy to quote myself and lose a hundred. Our Colts cave was absolutely going wild and nobody more than me! My throat is still sore this morning. What a game!!!
