Let’s maybe see him start a couple of games before we begin throwing the B word around eh?
-
Id send our 1 & 1 of our 2s this year for Donald.
Bell is great and so is Mack but I like the young talent we have at those positions to develop.
Donald is a game-wrecked at a position where we have Al Woods who isn’t a great scheme for and Autry/Stewart. Donald fixes that for years to come.

I’m really interested to see Braden Smith get worked in. I have a feeling he’ll be a little bit like Joe Reitz for a while, fitting in where he needs to. But I think in time he can unseat one of Slauson or Howard for starts

I just love that he is owning up to mistakes. He recognises his own shortcomings and mistakes and learns from them. That’s what makes a great GM.

Yeah could see this coming if I’m honest.
Knee defect and two straight season ending knee injuries. And he wasn’t likely to be a starter with Nelson taking his spot at LG.
Good for him for going out on his terms. Wish him the best.

Breakout Guy: Quincy Wilson
Comeback Kid: Andrew Luck
Rising Star: Malik Hooker
Dont Forget About: Chester Rogers
Needs to Rebound: Ryan Kelly (injury plagued season)
Darkhorse: Braden Smith (Potentially starting at RG?)
Under the Radar: Kemoko Turay -
Glad this wasn’t a story about him being caught for weed
Good for him though!

LB Shane Ray of Denver. I expect LB Bradley Chubb to take mins from him and heard they won’t exercise his fifth year. We are still a little thin at LB and he could maybe be had.
He’d play DE for us and has big issues with his wrist that has kept him out on and off for a while.
I liked him coming out so I’d be cool with getting him. But I’m not sure I’d spend anything higher than a 6th for him at this point. Especially with his contract running out.

Lol! We’re you waiting for ...under the bus?

Didn’t see the colon in the title of the the thread. Got excited at some major progress.

Damn. Real quick to be that candid. Normally something you say post-retirement
Sad but true.

Fairly sure everyone is really.
Although I’m sure Ballard is t hating having the #3 waiver priority!
-
I remember mocking him to us in the mid-2nd. I really liked him. Had a less impressive senior year (still put up 100+ tackles) when he put on weight and lost some of the speed and explosiveness that was his bread and butter previously.

If I’m a GM I say one thing.. ‘Good lord no.’
He’s a garbage person.

Some people hate it, but it’s honeslty one of my favourite Twitter follows
Sounds even better in his voice too

30 other teams passed numerous times as well

Rebuild.
We need everything.
Calm yourself.

Landry, Jackson and Guice are falling but so far everyone else is passing so they likely know something we don’t.
So far I like it.
-
That’ll do nicely. I dig it.

Believe me, it's a good thing we figured it out now. Rumors said we were interested in the 2nd. Ballard loved him. This is the best possible news that could of happened to us before the draft besides another trade.
Oh I agree. Just a shame

Dammit
Loved him as a prospect and was hoping he left this stuff behind him.
He would have been a 4th/5th rounder before but he’s undraftable now.
I’d take him as a UDFA but the Josh Gordon ghost hangs too heavy over him to draft him.

I like the players you picked but the slotting has issues I think.
If you swapped the Landry and McGlinchey picks, take Chark out, bump up the Price and Oliver picks by one and then slot Chark at the bottom then might work out better. So it would end up looking like this.
12 Landry
22 McGlinchey
36 Michel
37 Price
49 Oliver
53 Chark
The only issue for me would be no LBs. We need at least 2 in the first 3 rounds I think. Personally I'd replace the McGlinchey pick with VanderEsche (I'm assuming Roquan and Tremaine are gone at 12 which I think is likely), and Chark with the best LB on the board. Maybe look at Dante Pettis, Antonio Calloway later and maybe Brian O'Neill or Tyrell Crosby in the early 3rd if you're looking at Oline.
Very interesting thoughts though.

I’d love it if he hung around to one of our 2nd round picks. Him and Roquan would be a great pairing.
I still see him going in the 20/30 range.

I kind of hate myself for it but I would think long and hard about both of those options.
Andrew’s durability worries me now. He’s a warrior but you can’t throw at a ProBowl level with a lame shoulder. I’d fight to keep #6 instead of taking the 2nd rounder from them though. So we’d end up with 1,4 & 6 and our existing 2nd rounders. With the picks we got back from Cleveland we could pick up Mayfield who is pretty perfect for Reich’s RPO. Either Chubb or Barkley at #4, whichever player NYG don’t take. And maybe Nelson at #6. Or even a modest trade back for more picks. And even without that second trade, 3 picks in the top half of the 2nd round to galvanise both sides of the ball. That’s an insane retool.
I love Andrew and I’m pulling for him. But I can’t say honestly that I’m 100% confident that he’s physically capable of being the top 5 QB he used to be. And I have my doubts whether stubbornly nailing our team’s success to Andrew’s questionable health is a good idea in the long term.
For the 2nd one I’d want something this year as well as a 1st next year for #6 from Miami though, especially if a QB is at stake for them. I want their #1 next year because I think there’s a high probability it’ll be a top 10 pick. But I’d ask for an additional 3rd this year as a QB premium. The point system kind of goes out the window in the top 10, especially when a QB is involved.
Schwartz on Nelson: Mostly real good...

Would you rather Vujnovich was still there?
Entirely necessary 1st round pick.
