I had him graded in the high 3rd if I remember right. I remember repeating his name when we were waiting for the pick to be announced. I was thrilled when his name popped up.
He’s doing great. Him and Leonard will grow together and be the heart of this defense.

Am I the only one that though the Sheard holding penalty was the right call? The tackle made a meal out of it but it was a foul.

Both playing really well.
That low shoulder roll cut tackle Hooker seems to do has me worried sometimes when he’s the last man to beat. Sooner or later people are going to expect it and vault him. I’d rather he wrapped up and lost another yard or 2 on forward progress than gave up touchdowns by making a poor cut tackle he can’t recover from.
Just my 2 cents.

Ummm okay...

Can't buy class

Ebron is an excellent receiver but Doyle is one of the better blocking TEs out there. If Ebron is out there it's probably easier on the defense to guess what we're doing.

Not as far as I know. It’s ours and the Philly game that haven’t shown up. Wondered for a minute if it had been cancelled with the hurricane or something

Gamepass not working for anyone else?

As long as we are protected. Small contract loaded with incentives. Weekly drug tests, if he pops he’s gone. I wouldn’t give up a pick for him but I don’t see the harm on a FA signing. A different culture and a small market city with strong leadership could do wonders for him.

I'm not a fan of PFF but thanks for posting.
Would it be possible for you to post the numbers of the Bengals players for week 1? it would be interesting to do a matchup comparison.
I’ll see if I can post a new topic with both tomorrow

Trading your safety depth when both of your starters are injury concerns is not smart.
4th straight up? Maybe
-
He’s great, but he’s phenomenally expensive. He’s also had a redonculous workload since he’s been in the NFL.
If we can can pick him up as a FA for 10/11m then I’d entertain it. But he’s after QB money and I’m not paying that. Neither is Ballard.

A guy like Hankins?
I hope I’m way off base, but I just see the D on the field for extended drives, trying not to ‘break’ but eventually getting worn down as the game goes on.
I have a feeling he has an aversion to the 4-3. Left NY as soon as he could and left as soon as we transitioned. Wouldn’t surprise me if he asked to released.
We need LBs that can play the run effectively. We’ll see if we have any.

Watkins and Mack 50/50
Watkins is the 1st down back.

1. Why would Dallas trade a top level Olineman with Travis Frederick’s season in doubt.
2. AC is a legit LT. I don’t see why he gets so much hate on here sometimes.
3. To answer your original question, the price would be astronomical and no, Jerry Jones isn’t stupid.
-
If Jarvis Landry is traded for a 4th then Gordon isn’t being traded for a 2nd.
If Gordon shows his chops this year and pees clean all year then we’ll talk about a 4th in the off-season.
-
After 3 preseason games?
Im not sure I’m quite ready to give up on him yet.

Good player but I don’t see how he fits Ballard’s philosophy with the miles on his tyres.
-
Anyone know the story behind what started it?
It was fairly inevitable but would be interested to hear the context.
-
With the cap space we have right now, it’s probably the best time to do something like this. We don’t have a massive amount of big contracts needing to be paid in the next couple of years, outside of maybe Olinemen.
My only issue would be the price tag from Oakland. If I’m them I holdout for a kings ransom. I’m thinking a 1 and a 2. If not more. I’m not sure I’m willing to give that up for a player who is already going to be 28 at the end of the season.
Use the cap muscle we have on FAs and build through the draft. Trust the process.
-
It was a stupid move. There are going to be a lot of ejections this year though. Hard to un-teach that.
Haason Reddick on Trade Block from AZ - Should we Pursue?
in NFL Draft, Scouting, and Free Agent Talk
Posted
Lots of reports going around on Twitter from insiders reporting Reddick and Deone Bucannon are both on the block and could be dealt before the deadline.
Should we pursue either for a mid/late round pick?
