Last season for coaching staff and GM

Pagano is surely a wonderful, brave fellow, and Grigson seems to be a nice guy. I wish them well.

But I don't think the Colts can ever win a Superbowl with them. I don't even think Andrew Luck should stay with the Colts unless there is a fundamental change.

But I don't think the Colts can ever win a Superbowl with them.

Let's see:

1. Colts started with no improvement whatsoever over last season. The team again looked woefully unprepared – one wonders what the coaching staff is doing during the week, they seem to only start doing their job at halftime, when the team is already down by several touchdowns.

2. Pagano & Manuski are supposed to be defensive wizards but, for the third season, the defense looks terrible. It’s not just a lack of personnel, it’s poor coaching and play calling.

3. Landry, Walden, and Toller are terrible and they are products of this GM, as was Satele. He needs to be made responsible. A few success cases (Freeman, TY Hilton, probably Art Jones) can only take you so far when the blunders are piling up.

3. Offensive play calling is repeatedly dreadful. Colts could have had 100 downs in the red zone and still would have failed to score a touchdown. Replacing Richardson (Grigson's biggest cockup) with Bradshaw should be a no-brainer, and not a desperate move. Pep Hamilton might make a competent head coach, but someone else needs to be calling plays for the offense.

4. Lack of investment in the offensive line, poor drafting (Hugh Thornton is beyond terrible), and poor coaching just send one message to Andrew Luck: your play is enough to keep bailing out the GM and coaching staff, but you won't reach the ultimate prize without better support from them; if you want to stay in one piece and have a long and successful NFL career, just get out of town as soon as you can.

Will the Colts make the playoffs? Yes, probably. Should the GM and coaching staff be let go at the end of the season regardless? Absolutely.
