I was under the impression Austin is injured. DHB is an imposing figure at wide receiver. Has he made a catch over his shoulder this year? We need him badly now . The Colts

overpaid for Richardson. As a Colts fan who watches all the Browns games I'm afraid that what you have seen is what you are going to get.

Richardson isn't the problem. The way the Colts use him is however. They don't disguise how or when they are going to run the ball when he's in the game. If the Colts used T-Rich in spread formations and read options he would be much more effective. Putting him in the game and running him out of traditional sets with a FB leave nothing to the imagination for opposing defenses, which is why they continue to stack 8-9 in the box whenever Trent's in the backfield.

I wish I could agree but he underachieved for the Browns. His vision on cutting to daylight is weak and he cant remember all the plays. We need him now more than ever because DHB

is inconsistent. Check Richardson's yards per carry at year end and judge for yourself. The Colts gave up way to much for Richardson. I'll be happy if I'm wrong but it's about time Richardson startS playing like a number 3 pick. He's had ample games to prove himself

in the NFL.

I look for us to pass more from the power run formation, which will kill a stacked box , our formation will look the same but will we pass or run the ball?,it will be hard to defend that.

DHB is playing the best he can. He will not answer the challenge of " next man up", but Whalen will. DHB will not be here next year.

It seems that the way the Colts are using their RB's is to deflect the rush but the approach is not working as was evidenced in Sundays game with the Texans.It's not working against teams that can rush. The Rb's are not blocking well and should be free in the second tier which Richardson and Brown could be a real asset there. Now DHB and him being traded really its him growing into less fear of the hit and he stays in contact with the ball and adjust  patterns on the fly. Last but not least this WR issue will be more open with choices after this season. I think this season as it started will be about finding the pieces and the team adjusting to their strength. Also Reggie can spend more time in encouraging the present WR's in ways to improve game to game! As the team has done with this new era Colts have done so far. If you put the players lost this season in play now I believe the games we lost might be more wins.

Again, Richardson played for the Browns. Need I say anything more regarding their "production" as an offense? Like here, he faced 8 man fronts all game long because the Browns have nothing at the QB position to warrant any defense to change that approach. When T-Rich was there, he was the only player on offense opposing teams had to stop. Like I said earlier, Richardson will be fine once the coaching staff starts using him in sets and on downs where the defense can't tell whether a run or a pass is coming. You saw glimpses of that on Sunday night when the Colts got the ball to him in space.
