  1. 2013 was a good year in the history of the Indianapolis Colts. Some would even say great- but the truth is this, a group of youngsters that overcame adversity and overachieved despite the administrators of the team hindering them at every turn. The Indianapolis Colts began the 2013 season by acquiring a handful and a half of free agent players. Some were obvious fits for the scheme, such as LaRon Landry and Ahmad Bradshaw however, the former Executive of the Year seemed to whiff on some of the intermediate talent that he had acquired. Questions were raised about the acquisitions of Lawrence Sidbury and the insane contract given to Erik Walden. Most Colts fans and personnel were spoiled by the 2012 season, one where every Draft Pick and acquisition seemed to work for the Indianapolis Colts, however in 2013, that would be a different story all-together.

The downhill trend began with the 24th pick of the 2013 NFL Draft Ryan Grigson and Chuck Pagano thought it best to draft Bjoern Werner, a Defensive End from Florida State and convert him to an outside linebacker- with names like Kiko Alonso and Alec Ogletree (Both ILBs, but true linebackers) still on the draft board. The Colts then went on to draft two linemen on the offensive side, one on the defensive, a safety, a runningback and a tight end through the last six rounds of the draft. Of the six drafted players- zero started the season. One lineman (Hugh Thornton) earned a starting position due to injury, Werner was a rotational OLB, Khaled Holmes was (for some reason) AWOL the entire season. Boyett- the safety had off-the-field issues which led to him being released from the team. The defensive lineman, Montori Hughes ended the season with the Colts, albeit on injured reserve and the running back, Kerwynn Williams ended up bouncing on and off of the practice squad before the San Diego Chargers signed him.

While the free agent additions of LaRon Landry, Ahmad Bradshaw and Gosder Cherilus ended up ok, the absolute horrendous acquisitions of Erik Walden, Lawrence Sidbury, Darrius Heyward-Bey and Kelvin Sheppard drained cap money that could have been used elsewhere and on more productive players.

    Then the season began-

Three weeks into the NFL season, Vick Ballard, Ahmad Bradshaw, Donald Thomas, and Dwayne Allen's seasons all ended. Ryan Grigson decided to counteract these injuries by swapping out his 1st round pick for Trent Richardson- a Running back selected two spots behind Andrew Luck in the 2012 NFL Draft, and the apparent savior to the Indianapolis Colts. His impact was not felt, and he was relegated to a #2 RB spot.

Here's looking to 2014, a season that will most likely begin with Samson Satele still in the offensive line works, two consecutive wasted 1st Round Picks, and another disappointing draft for the Indianapolis Colts. Don't worry though, Grigson's gotta get something right sometime? He WAS Executive of the Year last year.

wahhh wahhh booo hooooo hahahaa love it...

  2. I think it is a lot. He has none of his targets from last year. All new guys and yet he threw for 364 today with two receivers over a hundred. No Gronk hurts the most in the red zone was my point but they showed they can compete and win games so no excuses but he is missed down there.

I believed Brady was the GOAT prior to this season so that really does not change whether he wins or loses next week.

    Hahahaha

  3. "Wahhhh wahhhhh our playoff path is gonna be too hard wahhhh wahhhhh I want it to be easy wahhh wahhhh..."

Lol who cares?... You guys are such females on here I love it!... anything can happen once you're in the dance. Ohhhhh wait!!!! All of you guys have it all figured out beforehand I totally forgot.. Just like how we would have no chance with SF, SEA or DEN! With Injuries and anything else anything can happen. But keep being little females acting all scary.

My favorite is you goobers who are like "wahhhh we have no shot on Sunday..." Then when the colts win you're like "oh yeah I totally saw that coming and that was the exact gameplan I had written up myself..." type of posts

    Weenies

GO COLTS! All of you annoying fans can suck it though

  4. Once again, I don't think you have any idea what you're talking about.

I offered no facts, or statements of truth. I only offered my opinion. That's all.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. If I'm right, I'm right. I wouldn't make a big deal about it either way....

But, thanks for playing..... we have lovely parting gifts for you....

Lol what?.... Ok Mel Kiper over there with all your analysis but then when you get checked come back saying it's just opinion. Ok that's fine, but don't act like u have it all figured out.. Everything you said was far from the truth, and what's up with him not being sharp? How do you know that... Misstra know it all lol

You have no idea what you're talking about...... You lose... Go slap yourself

  5. Most of the year? Playing Thursday night games are terrible and awful...Its those greedy owners...they just do it to line their pockets...Its for TV....players get hurt...don't let me hear anybody talk about player safety? they don't care!!!

This week? But playing Thanksgiving MORNING and AFTERNOON in Detroit and Dallas is a priviliege and tradition..

A chance to show off for a national TV audience.

....NFL players just like to complain....Detroit has played on Thanksgiving for 60 years

...Its never led to more injuries and its always been about making money.

...always good to have a little turkey without whine

    Ok. Coooooool

  6. You would really wish and injury to one of your own teams players that is sad.

Right? But to be honest I love it. How sad is his/her life if they get that worked up about some roster moves hahaha love it

  7. My favorite is how people thought/think he was/is the second coming of collie.

Injuries aside, and I like griff but he can't even touch collie's skill set, or come close. I just don't get it, but people want to see what they want to see. Definitely a little shocking though

  8. Peterson gives up big yardage, he usually just takes advantage of sorry qb play. My guess... 92 recieving yards and a td for Hilton. 4 tackles and a ton of return yards for Peterson, no picks.

I really hope that's the case this weekend, would love to see him get scorched, but i personally think Peterson is a stud.  Sometimes stats are EVERYTHING (not saying that's how you feel) to people and that's all good but you make it sound like he's being beaten over and over again.  Do you think he get's too much credit?

  9. Troy Williamson had his eyes checked because he had DHB hands. They found a problem with his eyes, but it never corrected his hands.  DHB is Troy Williamson 2.0

WOW..... he slipped my mind.  I agree, TW 2.0 lol and it's sad.

  10. Whatever

When Luck, Manning or Brady get roughing the passer calls, it's not a problem. No one ever brings it up, but lately I have seen many of a time Luck gets hit and you see the flags come and grant the penalty.

Brees gets one, it's a problem and it's totally wrong. Like most the time, it's always brought up how the Saints get calls that go their way in every win, but some how the Colts never get any calls, or the Pats don't, or especially the Denver Manning's who didn't receive one offensive penalty in the entire game last week.

Say what you want to say, I don't care. I could have said a lot about the New England game and all the strange flags that helped the Pats but I didn't. The Saints played very well today, and like it or not, we won.

we? lol yeah i'm sure u had a great hand in helping the saints win the game...

you are trippin!!!  many a times huh???? come with some instances in which it has happened then.....????  since you have seen it many a times....
