Mendenhall had an ACL injury and I read that he probably wot be back for at least teo years, if he is coming back
-
I'd rather have Mathieu
-
1. Andrew Luck, QB
2. Reuben Randle, WR
3. Alameda Taamu, NT
4. Orson Charles, TE
5. Akiem Hicks, NT
5. Evan Rodriguez, FB
6. Audie Cole, ILB
7. Chris Harris, CB
7. Ryan Miller, OG
7. Chris Owusu, WR
-
Playmakers that could contribute right away and be starters that could be found in the second round
RB: I belive none, Brown is the starter, but Doug Martin would be interesting
WR: Sanu, Randle, Jeffrey: Wright will be gone at 34, these receivers could play alongside Wayne with Collie in the slot
TE: Fleener, He would contribute because of his experience with Luck
OT: Maybe Mike Adams? The team spent last years first two picks on tackles
OG/C: Peter Konz or Kevin Zeitler would be great, they could both be starters, also Glenn is a posibility although I dont believe he'll be there
DE: Kendall Reyes, Devon Still: they would be in a rotation but would become strters very quick
NT: I dont believe Dontari Poe will fall
OLB: Branch, Upshaw, Curry, McClein, Jones: they could be great situational pass rushers and could eventually replace Freeney
ILB: Hightower, Any other ILB would be a reach, assuming Kuechly will be gone
CB: Jenkins?, Gilmore?, Josh Robinson, Jamell Fleming: Could be starters with Powers
S: I would only select a safety if a top 15 talent like Mark Barron falls
-
I said safety so I had to give the people more than 1 choice. I understand Barron is a top 20 talent. I wanted him in the second earlier in the year
I would only take Barron
-
Well not to hijack this thread but if Courtney Upshaw is there in the 2nd would you take him
Id take him he could be a great pass rusher on third down and he has coverage skills
-
I'd take him, we need playmakers, players that can make plays on third down
I heard Hightower can play ILB and OLB because he can rush
-
Mark Barron will likely not be there, but if he is, I say take him, he is a playmaker and a top 15 talent
-
Fleming surely won't drop to 5th?
I've seen mock drafts where he drops to 5th or were he is drafted in the first
-
First!
This would be great, if he restructures then we would have even more cap space and a belived player would retire as a Colt
Happy Easters!
-
1. Andrew Luck, QB: No explanation needed
2. Janoris Jenkins, CB: The CBs that are currently on the roster are terrible, we need a starter and Rucker and Thomas can play nickel
3. AJ Jenkins, WR: He can develop to be Luck's favorite target
4. Nick Jean-Baptiste, NT: He's a developmental NT that can spare time with McKinney until he is good enough to start
5. Jamel Fleming, CB: depth
5. Adrien Cole, LB: depth
6. James Hanna, TE: very athletic TE that can be the starter until someone more proven is signed or drafted
7. Jaymes Brooks, OG: Just for depth because, if Grigson and Pagano thought the guys they signed wouldn't help the team, they would not be here
7. Griff Whalen, WR: depth
7. Bobby Rainey, RB: depth
Well, I actually believe we should go BPA because there are no young pro bowlers on the team, but I also believe we should draft players that can make plays on third down, playmakers like shea mcclein, doug martin, lamar miller are good options in the second round, sincerely, I wouldn't draft a RB, I'd go BPA in the first three rounds and then go for need
Happy Easter!
-
1. Andrew Luck, QB
2. Coby Fleener, TE
3. AJ Jenkins, WR
4. Jamel Fleming, CB
5. Akiem Hicks, NT
5. Evan Rodriguez, TE/FB
6. Adrien Cole, ILB
7. Bobby Rainey, RB
7. Griff Whalen, WR
7. Jaymes Brooks, OG
Well, I believe this could be a good mock
I believe I know a lot about football, for my age, mostly because I'e played football since I was 8, today I turned 14
1. because the WR class is very deep, I believe that we can wait until the third round to get a WR
2. We have young developing cornerbacks so we dont have to go CB early
-
I retweet every single football news
@alfredandre87
-
I saw in twitter someone wrote AJ Jenkins is getting lots of hype and could go as early as 2nd round, that would be very bad for the Colts, because O could see him as the future #1 WR bu we'll see what happens on draft day
-
1st Andrew Luck, QB
2nd Andre Branch, OLB
3rd Alameda Taamu, NT
4th AJ Jenkins, WR
5th Jamell Fleming, CB
5th Audie Cole, ILB
6th James Hanna, TE
7th Jaymes Brooks, OL
7th Griff Whalen, WR
7th Bobby Rainey, RB
The most questioned pick will be without a doubt andre branch, yes we have pass rushers, but this guy would be what hughes was expected to be and more, besides he would become the heir of freeney
I didnt go CB early because we are developing Rucker, Thomas and Johnson; besides if they dont come up to expectations, Mathieu will be there next year
I hope you liked it
-
most likely three cbs will go in the first round. you really wanna pick the fourth best corner as our second pick
Id be happy with anyone that falls
-
getting jenkins in the second is a big reach plus i want the cbs we have now in thomas and ruckers to develop. i personally want coby fleener but i doubt he slips to us.
It doesnt have to be jenkins, the bestt CB available
-
1st. Andrew Luck QB
He will be the face of the franchise for the next 10 years
2nd Janoris Jenkins CB
It doesnt have to be Jenkins here, because CB is a big need I would take the best CB available
3rd Alameda Taamu NT
Good and big NT that will complement Paganos defense
4th AJ Jenkins WR
Good WR with good athletism that can become a number 1 target for Luck
5th Audie Cole ILB
Depth at ILB and can become a starter
5th James Hanna TE
He kinda fills the need at TE, big with safe hands
7th Griff Whalen WR
Familiar target for Luck
7th Robert Turbin RB
Bruising back that can run and help the running game
-
1. Andrew Luck QB
2. Stephon Gilmore CB
3. Alameda Taamu NT
4. AJ Jenkins WR
5. James Hanna TE
7. Robert Urbin RB
7. Griff Whalen WR
-
1st Andrew Luck QB
2nd Coby Fleener TE
3rd Casey Hayward CB
4th AJ Jenkins WR
4th Josh Chapman NT
5th Phil Blake OC
6th Evan Rodriguez FB/TE
7th Chris Owusu WR
UDFA:
Griff Whalen WR
Robert Urbin RB
Because I go Offense first I say we get a CB in the 2013 draft because at CB we got developmental guys in TJohnson CRucker and KThomas so I think we get Luck his favorite target and then solidify the team in later rounds
-
THANK YOU!!! I said that the Colts should have drafted him in the 6th round last year, but people gave me crap for it, and even with his impressive preseason, ppl still kept giving me crap. He's extremely smart, has a good accurate arm and has tons of potential. We'll just never get to see it since he's with the Jets and he's a 3rd stringer.
I'd love to have him in the team
-
Why do people keep taking WR in the 2nd. We have 2 good starters and have many other needs. Take a receiver in the mid rounds and make him the 3rd and final starter. We have CB, NT, OG and even TE (if Tamme is gone) to worry about. Needs > Talent, especially if those needs are as good as the talent.
Tamme is gone, Mathis said it o. His twitter we. Someone listes lucks weapons, he said tamme is gone, sorry for the writing mistakes im writig from my ipod
-
I think the Colts should take a look at drew stanton, he wants out of NY and is a very good backup QB imo
Fleener in the 3rd?

In the second i want hill, jeffrey or fleener
Randle and Sanu are other options
