  1. ...True (about the Pack) but Jax didnt match up with us but they beat us....

..again..the question....do we need 10-6 to get in...?

Difficult to know if 9-7 will be enough at this point. How do we know what the other teams will do? Pitt beating the Giants yesterday didn't help our playoff chances. Who will get hot down the stretch?

We just need to keep winning and hope for the best. I agree with our finishing 9-7.

  2. I believe it works this way, but not certain.

Everyone plays everyone else in their division twice = 6

Everyone plays one AFC division once = 4 games

Everyone plays one NFC division once = 4 games

the other two games are based on strength of schedule = 2 games

    Total 16 games

Am I correct that everyone plays both one entire AFC and NFC division or is it just one division and 6 games are based on strength of schedule?

    thanks

  3. I do remember it. It was on their final drive. I thought what the heck he is gloating already. Looking at the replay it looked like the ball was deflected and his receiver caught it. I think that caused this reaction.

they did look so casual on that final drive like they all expected to move the ball down and kick the winning fg. sorry not this week.

  4. I rewatched that play. Angerer had zero clue that ball was there. He was running to cover the white TE who had swung out to the sideline. Had his head/eyes firmly on that TE. Didn't glance once at Hasslebeck. Ball drilled him right in the left bicep lol. No biggy. Just thought it was funny.

Then at another point in the game. Vaughn was covering the WR, was about 2 steps behind. Hasslebeck underthrew the ball, drilled Vaughn right in the back if the head. No arms up for the deflection. Had no idea the ball was thrown or coming at him. Only realized it after it drilled him in the melon.

Then Vaughn did the classic arm wave "ain't completing nothin on me" move. Lol. Dude. That ball just hit you in the face!

If he had his arms up it would have been pass interference.

  5. Not having Peyton has hurt Freeney as much as not having Mathis. Peyton usually meant a nice lead allowing Freeney to go after the qb and not have to worry about the run. In these close games teams continue to run the ball and he is less effective and has less opportunities.
