oh man, would have loved him in the 4th...
-
Adams is gone, but Massie, Jamel Fleeming and Ta'amu are still there....lets goooooooo
I wouldn't be upset with any of those
-
What wide outs do u guys see that could develop to a number 1 that is left?
Just need to find a #2 wr IMO. Get Luck his #1 next year, theres should be some real good ones
-
didn't see that happening with L James to the 49ers. Theres value at OG later I think, gotta go D in the 3rd
-
packers trade up, does that mean they are going cb?
-
For those of us rooting for a guy in the trenches.... NT Ta'amu and OG Osemele now enter a 5 team gauntlet.
I hope they make it through and we have a shot at them.
I love the steelers draft so far
-
who do you want in the third Ta'amu or Trumane Johnson
-
I hope Ta'amu escapes the Steelers pick here.
dodged a bullet...
-
Need some defensive reinforcements asap
-
I thought there would be quite the run on WR in round 2
-
If Jenkins falls to the third, do we take him? He could possibly fall there.
darn, hope he would have.
-
Wright is a Titan.
I´m fine with Fleener, Upshaw, Jenkins or Glenn.
wow not sure how I missed that pick . I'd rather see Hill,Fleener or Glenn than wright anyways.
-
My biggest concern is Baltimore trading up to the Rams spot to grab Glenn, at which point, I hope the Colts trade down as well. If the Rams hold onto that spot, I don't see them going for Glenn.
I wouldn't be suprised to see the rams stay at #33 and take Hill, Randle or Wright. they missed out by one pick on blackmon and one pick on Floyd so I don't think they pass up the chance at a target for Bradford.
-
Another vote for Cordy Glenn: a mid-first round talent who can play either ROT or G, fullfilling the primary task of protecting Luck while being the BPA to boot. I'm worried the Rams will take him. If they do, other quality choices are Upshaw, Fleener, J. Martin,
Randle, Hill and Konz. Thanx to Cleveland, Seattle and KC for being stupid.
I agree with everyone, Cordy Glenn makes ALOT of sense, but so doesn't Fleener Hill and Upshaw. I won't be dissapointed in any of those four. Does any think that because of the WR class is deep in this draft is why we didnt' see the likes of Hill, Wright and Randle drafted? maybe if we go Glenn or Upshaw with #34 there should be a quality WR prospect available in the 3rd.

Round 1 - #1 Andrew Luck
Round 2 - #34 WR Kendall Wright, Alameda Ta'amu DT, OG Kevin Seiter
Round 3 - #65 Alameda Ta'amu DT, WR Quick
Round 4 - #97 CB Chase Minfield, TE Green
Round 5a - #136 WR T.Y. Hilton, CB Asa Jackson
Round 5b - #170 Tony Bergstrom OT/G, NT Nicolas Jean Baptiste
Round 6 - #206 RB Chris Rainey, G Ryan Miller
Round 7a - #208 TE Evan Rodrigues, OLB Miles Burris
Round 7b - #214 ILB Noah Keller, DT Kheeston Randall
Round 7c - #253 TE Adrien Robinson, OLB Brandon Marhall

same thing was said about mjd, ray rice, and lesean mccoy
James isn't even close to having the build those three guys you listed, I don't see any way he could be a everydown back in the nfl. I could see him being a sproles type player which certainly isn't bad but not worth our 3rd round pick this year IMO.
-
His stocks been falling, looks like theres a good chance he can be there in round 2
-
bethea

No, because essentially we have 3 years to find our future no.1 and Robert Woods could easily be that guy in next year's draft.
I agree about woods, he would look good in blue. I see him turning out to be alot like andre Johnson. I think if Hill falls to 34, we could pick that future number 1 reciever this year, I think Wayne would help him develop his route running.

Round 1: Indianapolis Colts: Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford
Round 2: Indianapolis Colts: Peter Konz, C, Wisconsin
When teams draft a quarterback early, they typically like to complement their new signal-caller with some protection or a play-maker. Think Matthew Stafford-Brandon Pettigrew, Sam Bradford-Rodger Saffold, Christian Ponder-Kyle Rudolph, and so on. The cupboard is pretty bare on offense in Indianapolis, so the front office needs to provide Andrew Luck with some help.
The top offensive player on the board is Peter Konz. The Colts signed Samson Satele, but Konz would be able to start at left guard and eventually make his way to center.
Pick change; previously Alshon Jeffery, WR
Round 3: Indianapolis Colts: Alameda Ta'amu, NT, Washington
The Colts are switching to a 3-4, and because the old regime favored smaller defensive linemen, the only player who can step in at nose tackle is 310-pound Antonio Johnson.
Round 4: Indianapolis Colts: Orson Charles, TE, Georgia
Dallas Clark is gone. Jacob Tamme is gone. The Colts need to find a tight end for Andrew Luck. Orson Charles falls because of character concerns, but this new Colt regime proved that it doesn't care about that when it signed Samson Satele, who was arrested for disorderly conduct this offseason.
Round 5: Indianapolis Colts: Ryan Steed, CB, Furman
The Colts couldn't stop anyone last year. It was embarrassing. They were stricken with awful corner play, which is something that really needs to be addressed.
Pick change; previously Coty Sensabaugh, CB
Indianapolis Colts: James-Michael Johnson, ILB, Nevada
The Colts need some linebacker depth for their new 3-4 defense.
Pick change; previously Vontaze Burfict, ILB
Round 6: Indianapolis Colts: Junior Hemingway, WR, Michigan
Andrew Luck needs a receiver to throw to besides an aging Reggie Wayne and an injury-prone Austin Collie.
Pick change; previously Mike Harris, CB
Personally I like this draft, I could see Konz being a pretty good Gaurd. I think maybe round 3 I would go WR and take hicks with on the fifth round picks if hes available. Any one have any info on the CB Steed?

I for one see the talent and potentail in JJ, found this article pretty interesting. I know this horse has been beaten to death and fed to the dogs, but what can I say its a slow day at work....
-
If weeden wasn't an old man I'd bet those two would be ranked nearly the same, maybe even a slight edge to weeden.
-
I just don't agree with him at all. Scrambling QB'S haven't managed to win superbowls, they sell tickets and win regular season games. RGIII is going to washington of all places, i can't see them consistently in the playoffs since they are in the NFC east.
-
Change that 3rd round pick to CB Janoris Jenkins cause he could fall there. Then give us WR Joe Adams instead of Baptiste and Akiem Hicks instead of Criner. Then its a great draft!
I think hicks is going to go in the late 3rd or early 4th, hes been moving up alot of peoples boards.

I like the pics so far, hope the oline holds up. This team isn't going to be fixed in one weekend, but I think the pieces we grabbed will help lucks transition into the nfl. Hopefully we get a G, CB or NT with the pics in the fifth.
