It's a foregone conclusion that everyone has completed their fantasy football draft.
Share your draft day roster & any changes made prior to NFL week 1 !!

Early on in his career Peyton Manning picked up a case of "pink eye" while at training camp. The tinted helmet shield made the lights and/or sun less harsh on his eyes while healing.

ENJOY TODAYS "THROWBACK THURSDAY TRIVIA" IN HONOR OF SNF SHOWDOWN WITH PEYTON MANNING & HIS WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION !!
Early on in his Colts career - QB Peyton Manning had to wear a tinted helmet visor. WHY ??
PLEASE DO NOT LOOK UP ANSWER ONLINE !!

Knowing the full-practice status of Jonatthan Harrison - I am hopeful that our starting offensive line will take the field Sunday night and play a game with no injuries.
I think our defense will surprize some - including some of our forum members. While facing a formidable foe in Manning's new offensive juggernaut - I think our defensive will play well.
My one and only REAL concern about Sunday nites game is that the Colts will have difficulty adjusting to Denver's mile-high air and will tire more easily than normal. Hope we have enough healthy bodies for consistent rotation.
-
With our first regular season game merely a few days away - which concerns do you still have going in to our game vs the Broncos ??
-
1. Grigson made a number of moves which were announced after my post. I anticipate a few more before week 2.
2. Kinda - I gave Harnish the benefit of the doubt for the Bengals game because of the o-line issues. BUT - I trust Ryan Grigson implicitly and if he thinks this new QB prospect is an upgrade - I'm in.
-
ENJOY TWODAYS "TWOSDAY TWOFER":
1. Will Ryan Grigson make any more roster changes before Sunday's season opener in Denver ??
2. Were you surprized that QB Chandler Harnish didn't make "the cut" this year ??

Jim Irsay's transgression probably cost the Colts the Super Bowl bid in 2018, and I'm pretty sure the SB committee considered that.
The Super Bowl committee also did not award New Orleans because of the power outage in the second half between the 49ers and Ravens, delayed everybody and the game, in front of an international audience.
That left Minneapolis/St/ Paul, and they were awarded the Super Bowl. Indianapolis will be back to host another Super Bowl at LOS. In the 2020 decade likely for the next opportunity.
Personally - I do not believe that Jim Irsay's actions had ANY affect whatsoever on the Super Bowl being awarded to Minneapolis.
The NFL has been pretty consistent - "If you build it - they will come" !!!
-
In my humble opinion this sounds like an appropriate punishment given Irsay's status as a team owner. I consider it both fair and reasonable.
Don't believe that draft picks would have been considered since this was a violation of the "personal conduct policy" and his violation did not in ANY way have any affect on his team.
Time for Irsay to move on - and - for us to join in that quest.
-
Were you surprized by any of the Colts moves toward the 53-man roster ??
-
NO - locker room cancer & head case !!
-
There was a LOT of debate regarding the Commissioner's decision to levy ONLY a 2-game suspension on Ravens RB Ray Rice - especially when compared with some of the first-time suspensions levied for other rules violations - including our own Robert Mathis.
Read the latest NFL.com article BEFORE answering todays question:
Do you think the Commish FINALLY got punishment for this type of offense right ??
-
Do you expect any real "surprizes" when the first version of the 53-man roster is revealed by 4 PM Saturday afternoon ??
-
I "channel surfed" - watching some of my favorite shows - then catching up on the Colts action during commercials. Didn't miss anything special. Thank GOD that pre-season is over !!
-
It is highly unlikely any of our "top tier" players will play tonight in Cincinnati. That said - do YOU plan to watch the game ??
-
Offense: Boom Herron & Jonatthan Harrison
Defense: Zach Kerr
Special Teams: L Purifoy
-
Which previously "unheralded" players do you expect to see make the Colts roster this season ??
-
I'd like to see each of them get some consideration since they are two of our "Super Bowl XLI" championship players !! We NEED depth @ safety and Giordano is a special teams ACE !!
-
ENJOY TWODAYS "TWOSDAY TWOFER":
Should the Colts consider bringing back G/C Dylan Gandy for O-line depth ??
Should the Colts consider bringing back S Matt Giordano for backfield depth - and - special teams ??
-
Just another way that the NFL continues to show its greed. If they aren't careful - they'll kill the goose that laid it's golden egg - Jane & John Fan who work hard for their money and spend a portion of their discretionary funds on the NFL (tickets - apparel - etc).
-
You'll note that the Patriots traded Mankins to an NFC team. It's unlikely that Belichick would have considered a trade arrangement with an AFC team - especially one that they play later this season.
