Gamepass is also cutting out a lot. Obviously early season rust.

Nice use of Hines.

Hi! Just got here.
Have we started to complain about the play calling yet?
My bad.

Oooo that's a painful drop.

Ok pints on the board, let’s get 7 next time

Hmm stuttering drive, but brought points. Not liking the overuse of JT, even in the passing game.
-
Gotta keep this D honest on the run.

Not a fan of this play calling for what should be scripted plays. Nor Matt Ryan running for a 1st down.

My point was how successful TY has always been against the Texans.
20 games, 103 receptions, 1,820 yards, 11 TDs.

Hmm conservative.
-
JT made something or nothing there, timing seemed off on handoff.
-
Feels wrong to be playing the Texans without TY to destroy them.

Most of the reason is US has Labor Day that day here which a lot of people have off, We can move it to a weekend, but I know, at least with my own life, I ma normally much busier during the weekend
Ahh fair enough!

Any particular reason we are drafting on a Monday?
Appreciate I'm the minority time zone so I'll go with it, but didn't we used to draft on a weekend day
-
Ouch at the draft time!

I'm curious if we'd even make a move for Jones after his brother flopped with us.
Do you know what, I somehow never realised he was part of the the Jones clan. TIL something new.

And that is the issue/concern with Ballard's rigid and methodical approach to team building. It works to a much higher degree when you already have your quarterback in place. Now we face the slow carnival ride towards potentially breaking up the current core and going full rebuild before the next QB is ready to help the Colts contend. Painful to watch.
Agree with this a lot, I've always liked the GB approach of tending to draft and pay their own, but a lot easier with a franchise QB. Till you nail that position I feel all bets are off, and that's the biggest drawback of the NFL in general.

Colts get a extra 5th and 6th round pick in the draft.
Farming comp picks has been a sneaky masterstroke strategy in the NFL In recent years. NE and Newsome era Baltimore always seemed to gain at least 2 picks a year. Might be late day picks, but it's still getting to throw the dice another go.

All I know is Marcus Williams at $16M AAV would have been fine with me. Reddick too. The two most important needs on defense, especially for Bradley's scheme. But it wasn't to be.
Those two I agree with, but would you say our holes on O might stop us splashing on the D side? Not that the secondary is all that great...and pass rush we're relying on hope.
