Both Mack and Wilkins are both capable of starting. They have different skill sets so they should and probably will be interchanged depending on the defense.

Luck has always had an issue of waiting for his receivers to get open rather than throwing in anticipation of them getting open. You see he has this with Hilton.. That has been my biggest knock on Luck since he came into the league, he waits until a receiver is open to throw the ball and by the time the ball gets to the receiver... so had the defender. You here the phrase a lot... about QBs throwing the receiver open, Luck needs to get better at that. It's not a rust thing it's a reps thing.

It's funny how some people wanted to trade JB for a second or even first. Before he came over to back up Luck, we had no decent backup QB and people were clamoring for the GM to get one. Now that we have one in JB, people want to trade him? I personally feel at ease knowing that if Luck ever goes down again, we have a very capable QB that could step right in and carry the team.

I'll reserve my opinions until the end of the regular season. At this point, we won't know who's going to under perform. There are a lot of factors throughout the season. Players could under perform during TC and pre-season and end up having a breakout year.
Too early to worry.
