i caught half of it. in a nutshell, he's really happy with our DC and has spoken to potential candidates already and they are all on board with him.
wasn't sure if he meant eberflus or monachino but apparently eberflus.

what did he say about the defensive coordinator? it froze for me.
-
It only means he thinks he is about ready to start throwing.
Hopefully not premature and re-aggravates it by pushing it too soon.
However, it does sound like good news.

None of those teams are remotely in the east though (I guess compared to the rest of the NFC they would be, but still).
I split the country in half as best as possible with AFC being on the East side and NFC being on the west side. Then I just named them the same as they are now but actually used locations to determine divisions. So, the east is relatively east compared to the rest of that conference. Everyone in each division is as close as possible to the rest of the teams in their division. NFC South and North is a bit spread out but can't be helped given the location of the teams.
Geographically, it makes a lot more sense than how it is done now. For example, why is Indy in the South? We are hardly in the South based on location.
How it is done now makes little sense other than possible some failed attempt at prioritizing rivalries over location. However, rivalries would grow stronger if they pitted teams against each other that were closer to each other. Most major rivalries in college are within the same state, not across the country.

If there was a change in divisions it would have to mix AFC and the NFC teams all together and then make up the divisions according to areas of closes to each other.
It would cut way down on travel times and also become a new rivalries due to the closeness of the teams. There would a lot less travel time for the fans too.

would you mind putting in the subject lines that these are ideas, such as "Idea for new uniform design".
I thought Colts were officially in a new division and officially going to wear a new uniform until I click on the threads.

Makes you wonder if Denzelle Good can play left guard??
Is he any good?
-
Whew...good to see Luck there as a 1st stringer...

Moncrief and Dorsett are both relatively unproven. Harrison and Wayne were both great receivers and Stokley was a solid 3rd option.
Have to go with them for now until either Moncrief or Dorsett turn into pro level receivers.

Kind of silly really. . . It's 32 teams because the Colts passed on him in the first round as well.
One would hope he wouldn't write his own team down. He would have to stink on purpose to get revenge on the Colts for passing him in the first round.
-
You're probably right. there's probably a bar that he grabbed and pulled himself up with his arms.
More plausible than my trampoline theory as it does look like he jumped off the floor.
-
we sure there wasn't a trampoline? can't see the floor where he jumps.

if going with an athlete focused pick-up line, I would have gone with "you must be an athlete, as you've been running through my mind all night"

The '95 and '05 games verses the Steelers.
I think '95 wins out for me with the dropped hail mary pass as the most painful.

Just say no to Suh.
Dirty player and will cost way more than he is worth.

The keep manning and trade pick and pick luck and release Manning have the same number votes. Not sure how you can look at the results and conclude that the choose Luck group is a minority (unless the results were a lot different earlier) Keep both is the only option that is getting any distance.
The only thing this poll shows is the fan base is evenly split between Manning and Luck.
Given the money situation, I don't think option 1 is viable unless it is only for a year or 2. Personally I doubt Manning would want to be on a team that is unlikely to to make the Super Bowl unless his desire to remain a Colt outweighs getting another ring.
The question at that point is do you want 3-4 years of Manning and then whoever we can get without the top pick or 15 years of Luck. I guess it depends on how good you think Luck will be and what you think we can find with a lower pick.

we don't have an offensive coordinator yet...do we?
It will be interesting to see if we still go with an offensive guy for head coach.
