This pick is really difficult. As much as I like Jeffery and Hill, we could get a playmaking receiver in later rounds IMO. We can always use depth, but I think we'll be able to steal a 1st round talent to make a big impact right away. The appeal of Jenkins keeps growing because he would be a huge payoff if he really has straightened out. His talent is undeniable for sure.

I like the looks of Zeitler. I believe he has the potential to start right away and that adds depth to our O-line in case of injury. One more talent like him and I would be very content with the line.
-
How late are you talking? I'm assuming he was an iron-man athlete playing TE and DE last year?
-
Stephen Hill is more likely than Randle!
Which would you rather have?

Offensive Lineman sounds good I just feel like we could score one to be taught later in the draft
It seems like that's the case with every position. If not Fleener, there's Green or Egnew. If not Jenkins or Hosley, there's Boykin or Wade. If not Randle or Jeffery, there's Quick, Jenkins, Broyles, Streeter. Really I guess BPA regardless of position is the way to go to see if we can strike gold.

Grigson might be looking to build up the trenches. Wouldn't suprise me he he drafts OL. Could go OC with Konz. OG with Zeitler, Osemele or Silatolu. OT with Adams or Massie. I guess it all goes down to how much Grigson likes the guys we have starting right now. Got to keep Luck upright and healthy.
I like the idea of snagging Zeitler. It may not be the most exciting pick, but one thing can always be sure: Added talent and depth on the O-line won't hurt us.

If not Jenkins, if Gilmore falls I will take him in a heartbeat
His stock's rising. He's pretty much Jenkins without the character issues. I would love to take him if he fell. Sadly, I don't see it happening.

There are so many choices. I know I'm going to be getting instant notifications on draft day to see who's all available.

The closer we get to the draft, the more I'm hoping we get Alshon Jeffery. He seems like big play material, but there's a strong possibility there will be better talent available at No. 34 and that's what Grigs will be drafting. I know on Draft Day, I'll be getting immediate updates seeing who's going to be available for us.

im not worried about his weight. I think he'll be a good WR in the NFL.
I'm not too worried about his weight either. He dropped to 215 for his pro day and said he's staying there. Either way, he was still producing big numbers at SC at 230. I'm excited about this kid.

This is a great Draft but i wonder how donnie avery fits in this? because its quite obvious we are gonna draft a wr
Donnie Avery should be alright this year if he stays healthy, but that's a big IF. I would love to have him be a consistent weapon for us, but I don't really see much happening. If we do draft WRs then I'm sure Avery will just be added depth.

I know Alshon Jeffery isn't the popular pick around here, but I'm honestly rooting we get him. I like adding one more big threat like that. Even if he is a weight-troubled rookie.

One thing I found odd was how in your research section of the post, Randle was listed as a possibility for the round 2 pick and the round 6 pick, but none of the picks in between. Not sure if it was unintentional or if that's just the crazy variety in all the mock drafts you looked up. Ha ha. Great job compiling all of that, though! Much appreciated!

I enjoyed watching Alabama play last season and Barron became one of my favorites. But I don't see him falling to the second round and given the current situation, in my opinion it isn't worth trading up to get him while losing a pick in the process. If he falls, then I'm sure he'll be the BPA and that's what we're going to draft, but in all likelihood, us getting him is a stretch. No matter how much I would enjoy it!
-
What do you think the chances are of him being available at no. 34? I'm pretty excited about this kid. I've been craving a good No. 2 receiver since Harrison retired.
-
I've been excited about Ijalana since we drafted him so I'd like to see him get a shot. I like the depth we've added at the line. Does everyone feel like McGlynn will simply be a versatile backup?
-
Wait wheres the draft?
Ha my thoughts exactly, so I thought I'd throw some kind of debate up there!
-
I'd like to see him build his own legacy with a number other than 12. Not only Brady has it, but Rodgers as well. But #12 is pretty much his persona already. How many fans out there have Luck #12 jerseys?
-
How does everyone feel about Alshon Jeffery? How does he stack up if Fleener, A.J. Jenkins, or Mohamed Sanu were available?
-
All of this talk makes me excited for the year. I didn't hear of the McKinney signing until reading this forum. Looking up videos on him right now. I'm anxious for the draft. If none of the top 4 CBs fall to us as No. 34, then a standout WR prospect would be fun. I wouldn't complain about Fleener either.
-
Sounds good to me! I'm actually a bit relieved. May have been a bit too overwhelmed by the roster needs to notice that something may have gone right. It seemed like we had way too many DE's, but perhaps now it wouldn't hurt to find a young promising one. Along with a NT for that matter. Guess I can take Zach Brown off of my Round 2 pick possibilities.
-
I doubt this is an issue anymore since RG3 declined the workout, but I think he would be an exciting player to watch. That being said, I believe Luck is the more practical choice.
-
I never thought of taking Freeney and Mathis to the OLB spots. Seems to fill up a lot of the problems in our linebacking corps! How likely do you think that is?
-
I understand drafting a young WR to grow with Luck, but I don't know about Sanu. If Alshon Jeffery falls to us at No. 34, then I'd jump all over that pick, but I was thinking it would be a tremendous help to address our need at OLB first. With Wheeler gone and our switch to a 3-4, a quick OLB is pretty high on the list in my opinion. I was thinking a guy like Zach Brown if we could snag him. He has great instincts and runs a sub 4.5 40.

It seems like a bit of a risk taking a guy who hasn't played offense in 4 years, but the potential seems to be there. Certainly such a big guy running a 4.55 is athletic, but the risk scares me away from spending anything higher than a 6th on him.
