I don't know where you got this schedule. The one posted on Colts.com as a desktop wallpaper has us playing the Bears, the Vikings, and the Jags an awful lot
-
It's actually supposed to be Latarrius Thomas, FS from EMU, I believe. Typo on Irsay's part.

@cobyfleener
Thanks! Added him on the last edit

Fleener jerseys might come out soon but I'd imagine you'd have to get a customized jersey for TY Hilton.
Ha I expected as much. Fell in love with this guy watching and listening to his interviews, let alone seeing his highlights. He's confident, but he's classy and grateful. I hope he lasts longer for us that Garcon did.

I felt this way for a couple of years and still feel this way about Facebook (which I don't use). Twitter just seemed like silly messaging between friends. Then last year right after the CBA was signed and we had the compressed free agency period, I broke down and created an account and I'm VERY glad I did.
I still NEVER tweet. I don't follow friends as all of them are old enough like me to not really see the point in broadcasting every little thing they do in their day. I have no non-bot followers, BUT that is not what I use twitter for.
Instead, I follow Peter King, Adam Schefter, Jason LaConfora, Rich Eisen, Chris Mortenson, Nate Dunleavy, Stampedeblue, and a bunch of other reporters/commentators. I then just use twitter as a nonstop, up to the minute, football newsfeed. Almost all of them include links to their most recent stories right in the twitter feed so I never need to go looking for them. Instead the iPad twitter app just automatically loads each story as I scroll chronologically through the day's events. Alternatively, the Flipboard app turns the feed and all of the linked stories into a sports magazine that I read each evening instead of visiting multiple Internet sites each day for news.
Used this way, I have really found twitter to be a time saving tool that keeps me up to date on the info I want to know.
I found it a great way to learn about progress in training camp and things like that too by following the players. I've actually had interactions with a few of them. Last year, RB, Chad Spann, from the practice squad took a picture of his helmet and tweeted me the link to see it when I asked what his jersey number would be. I also had a 15 minute or so back and forth with Antoine Bethea (I was literally jumping around the room), I believe Larrone Moore, a UDFA WR from last year is following this list. And just recently I was retweeted by UDFA Cameron Chism. I find it exciting.

Does anyone know when these are going to be released? I know Luck is 12, but beyond that, I haven't heard anything. I'm actually pretty eager to buy myself a T.Y. Hilton jersey.

I spent awhile today trying to find all of the Twitter accounts for the Colts players. The list I have currently has 52 players and 1 owner The list is up-to-date from what I can tell, including some draft picks and UDFAs & recently signed Dominique Jones and Deji Karim. I'll keep the list updated the best I can, but if you know of any players that I missed then please post their usernames here. Here's the link to the entire list if you want to just follow that: https://twitter.com/...t/colts/members
I'll also list the individual players with their usernames if you prefer to pick and choose.

Well Leaf, I dont know what to think of this guy. Since I cant play this video file on my phone!! Grr
Ha it's a bit long and it's all highlights, but it's all I could find on him. I wouldn't say he's undersized. He's certainly a big hitter from the looks of it and has good ball skills. Plus he played some good competition being from Maryland. I hope he pans out!
-
We didn't select a CB in the draft like most of us expected, but we certainly looked to provide some depth, at least, with the UFAs. We got Pellerin, and Fenelus, and Jackson, but I think Chism looks great. Personally really excited about him.
What do you think about him or any of the other CBs we picked up?
-
I really don't think this draft will be so WR heavy. And I'm still not sold on Streeter. I really like the Zeitler or Jenkins pick though. I would be content with either.
-
One I've had my eye on is Ryan Miller from Colorado. He's got the physical part (6'6-6'7 320-325lbs) and is good in run blocking and in a pinch might be able to play left tackle. I think with some coaching his pass blocking can improve (I saw a play where he pretty much was bullied cause he played extremely high...skyscraper high) a lot.
When's he projected to go?
-
Even though it's not a sexy pick, I wouldn't mind Zeiter at 34.
I wouldn't mind that pick either. I was just wondering if you guys thought there were any guards of starting caliber that would be available later in the draft.
-
Only guard that I'd spend a pick on that might have a shot of hitting 34 is Cordy Glenn. Outside of him and DeCastro I don't see one worth it at 34.
Any guards you wouldn't mind drafting in later rounds?
-
There's a lot of talk about drafting Zeitler at 34 if he's there. There's also a lot of debate over the same topic. Who do you think the best values at OG are? Players that can come in and start right away without spending such a high pick? If any.
-
1.Luck
2.Janoris Jenkins
3.Brandon Brooks
4.Ladarius Green
5.Streeter
5.Hicks
6.Owusu
7.Adrien Cole
7.Justin Bethel
I actually like this draft a lot, but I'm not so sold on Streeter. I like the idea of a big receiver and I can see his potential, he just seems like a bust type to me. Then again, a 5th rounder is a good round for a risk-reward type pick IMO. I really like the Brooks pick.
-
I think they're better.
It might be true that Jones or Criner might be a better value if we can snag their talent with a 5th or 6th round pick, but their neither of them are second-round talent. Especially compared to who's projected to still be on the board. Jones and Criner are among the bottom of the pack of WRs expected to be drafted. I just don't see any evidence at all that shows their talent level being that high.
-
I think we should be able to do much better than Jones or Criner in the second round if we choose to go WR. Someone like Hill or Wright might fall, but if not, there's Jeffery or Sanu.
-
I believe Fleener and Jenkins are both gone before our pick in the 2nd. Not crazy about Jenkins anyway as I believe he will struggle with the larger receivers in the game. My heart tells me Alshon Jeffery in the 2nd (even though I think he goes in the 1st), but my head says Mohamed Sanu.
I think Sanu is the ideal fit for the Colts offense. Given his perceived lack of straight line speed (4.62), he could really excel in precision route running offenses. He does have a good burst out of his break and is a beast of a down field blocker. He also has great hands. While I think Jeffrey is not doubt more talented, I think Sanu is a safer pick (again, I think A.J. is gone).
Firmly believe we need to invest that 2nd pick in a WR if the right talent is available. Sanu doesn't seem to be getting a lot of play, but I am thinking that is because he went to Rutgers and really came on last year.
I feel what you mean. I love the idea of getting Jeffery. I'm also sold on Ryan Broyles being a high-reward type pick in the late rounds so I wouldn't be too discouraged if we decided to go another direction in round 2. there's a lot of depth at WR in this draft.
-
Dude looks absolutely enormous compared to the QB in the picture.
That's a 6'1" QB too lol. Still don't want to trade up though
-
Leaves is with Jenkins in the 2nd. I like it

Suggestions at Guard for second 5th round pick: Lucas Nix/Ryan Miller/Andrew Tiller/Brandon Washington Suggestions at WR: T.y. Hilton/Tommy Streeter/Danny Coale
I like Streeter and Hilton both. I think either could have an impact. There's a lot of depth at guard in the late rounds too.
