People not liking the Watt pick is pretty old news. Slow news day?

Too much psychology going on in this thread
I think the argument is stupid. That's like saying the Jets building a strong defense to counter Brady means he's "In their heads". No lol, it just means they're smart...
-
Draft a cornerback in round 1 and then try to trade back into the first for a T.Y. carbon copy?
Yeah, he's gettin' to them.
LOL, yes, drafting defensive players to stop good offensive players (ever heard of Luck?) means they are "in our heads".
And by the way, the Patriots are so deep in your heads they can't even see daylight anymore.

I used to have Rewind and there are several times during the year where you have to renew. I don't remember the exact break down but I think it's around $60 if you add them all together.
I've had Rewind since 2011 and I've never had to renew during the year. One flat rate ($35) and I had access until spring.

But it has happened. It is more common that you might think. Especially if the victim is scared and plays along with the rapist. She did go to the hospital real quick and get a rape kit applied. She did come forward and was treated like she was at fault by the college staff. All this is old news as far as things like this happening. I did not witness none of this but to automatically dismiss her story is being narrow minded IMO. Just because Winston is a star football player does not mean he is automatically innocent. I guess we will wait and see the results from the court system. Also, IMO if she were out to get money she would be asking for a lot more I would think.
I didn't automatically dismiss it, this thing has been out there for like a year now. "But it has happened" isn't strong enough for me, a lot of things "have happened" in the annals of recorded history. You could easily go the other way with that.

Just how do you know this? It wouldn't be the first time a university covered up rapes and or other crimes to protect their ballplayers. Do you know for a fact that she is lying?
Just my opinion, given the timing and the fact that he drove her back to her house after the alleged rape, don't know of too many rapists that gave rides to their victims after the rape.

Looks like someone wants a nice little payday.

Well excuse us all for making a joke about your buddy Brady. So no Colt fan can even say one solitary negative comment about Brady even in joking? I hate to inform you but you are in the wrong forum if your going to get your panties in a bunch over these comments.
Did I say your name? And who's the one with their panties in a bunch, firing off at me like you are? Says a lot.

Lol, even in a light-hearted thread some people can't hold back the bitterness.

Meh......I am not all that excited and I am a feminist.
I can't say any woman cannot or should not full fill a dream of theirs, but wait until men start to bash this lady more then the male refs for getting a call wrong in a game....it will happen. Oh yes it will......
Or they will make excuses for her "She got it wrong.....but she is a woman."
Did that happen in 2012 with the replacement refs? I remember there being at least one woman at that time.

Calling out NFL teams for not signing you because you're gay, while simultaneously trying to get a spot on said teams?
-
I had similar thoughts but isn't there already a Texas Rangers team, baseball maybe?
Yeah but it's in Dallas. Not sure if you're aware but there isn't any love lost between Houston and Dallas sports teams.

Are you stalking me Vance ?
I'm not sure, does quoting someone who posted something count as stalking? Then yes.
-
Naa.. you just don't get it Jules.
A 33 year old Andre Johnson is washed up while the 33 year old guy that weighs like 700 , that the Pats cut is a great signing.
Why do you think Andre is washed up?
-
LOL...
LOL...

No he doesn't have the arm Vance. Never did and never will. That's why he went undrafted.
Yeah, he did, but whatever.
-
Hmmmm... maybe we are all "middle schoolers" but we don't hide for months when we make ridiculous statements like saying Keenum had plenty of arm to be a good starting QB . Remember that one Vance ?
Well if I did say that I wasn't wrong and I've never "hid for months" from any post. He had the arm, just not the head, as we learned. If I remember he had a 100+ QB rating and a 9/0 TD/INT ratio over his first few games. Why wouldn't I be optimistic. Is that a good explanation for you?
-
But really. Is Peyton better than him? Discuss.
-
That explains why they're picking so early in the Draft and the Texans aren't. Try again.
I think he was actually saying the Jags/Titans are better than the Colts. I mean, the Colts aren't even in our way! We can just squash them like bugs. I always like when a fan lays down the bitter truth on his own team. Shows heart.

I guess everyone in Indy forgot (or never bothered to know) that we would of had to pay him 21 million dollars over the next two seasons if he was on the roster.
-
Yes
No.
Maybe so?
-
If it were the same Andre Johnson , he would have signed for 12-13 mill per year not 7. It appears that the Texans just shoved him out the door by explaining his role as they did. So now we'll wait and see if Cecil Shorts , who can't stay on the field , will be an upgrade. This probably will turn out with one team looking smarter than the other.
Yep we'll just wait and see won't we?

Point is McNair is pretty much saying he's washed up or close to it. At least that's how I would read between the lines.
"Every athlete I think would like to play forever," McNair said. "They never want to acknowledge thatthey've lost a step or they can't quite do what they did before. Just look at history. Look at all the players. It just happens time and time again.
"We don't like to acknowledge that we're getting older. None of us do. That's just human nature, and I don't think that's going to change. ... They're used to being a star and they'd like to continue being a star. I don't blame 'em, I understand that."
Of coarse as you state he's for sure lost a step in 13 years in the NFL. But the question is how much off the fall off is due to catching passes with rag arms like Fitz and Keenum throwing to you ?
AJ is close to retirement, for sure. Maybe 2-3 years, tops. He's lost a step or two, no doubt about it. "Fall off" doesn't even need to be brought up. Sub-par QB play doesn't make a guy lose more steps.
And Keenum threw to AJ constantly. He threw him a large number of TDs for as little time he played.
-
There is absolutely no doubt he's lost a step in the last 4 years. This has been talked to death on our side, way before he was released. He is still an exceptional route runner though. Just ask Vontae Davis.

Sucking for Luck had nothing to do with the players, bruh.
You guys were chanting "Suck for Luck" after the first game of the 2011 season when it was apparent the Colts couldn't compete without Peyton. You don't think management knew that? Psh.
