  1. What the Hades, let's have Rich Einsen's agent, comedian Larry David, hold a press conference for the media too.

I can already hear Larry now. "Rich is the best NFL prospect since Dan Marino, John Elway, & Peyton Manning shattered records in this league. I mean who are we kidding right? If all 3 of those HOF QBs could conceive a child biologically Rich Einsen would be the NFL's golden child guaranteed to win a plethora of shiny silver statues or whatever you call those sharp, metallic objects anyway. haha Rich Einsen is the next football god."

Larry David excels in embellishment, exaggeration, & hyperbolic statements of grandeur.

Leon Sandcastle didn't run, although he kinda went stride for stride with Rich and cheered him on. Sandcastle was running backwards on a separate run and still almost beat Rich :P.

Thank you for posting this ReMeDy! Leon Sandcastle"I helped the Deli Lama & Obama...A Cheetah never stretches before a run."

Ravens HC John Harbaugh...Glasses on the bridge of his nose, shaking his head, & rolling his eyes in utter disbelief. Priceless!  :spit:

  3. 3 vital pieces to New England's Championship push: TE Rob Gronkowski, RB Danny Woodhead, & CB Aqib Talib all need to stay healthy & be signed, sealed, & delivered in Foxboro this September. Gronk please stop dancing & breaking your arm man. I like this kid, but he needs to stop acting crazy & think about the larger Lombardi picture. Vince Wilfork please sit him down & have a conversation with him ASAP. I want NE at full strength when the Broncos face them in the AFC Championship Game in January. 2 rivals evenly matched fighting for NFL Immortality; I live for scenarios like that.

I'm a bit surprised NE is shopping their backup QB Ryan Mallett. Even if they are just floating trade offers. This seems like a mistake to me. No, I'm not an expert GM with over a decades worth of experience in the NFL I will admit, but remember 2008 when Brady got sidelined with a knee injury? Always have a capable backup QB locked, loaded, & ready. INDY got burned by that mistake with Curtis Painter. If your franchise field general goes down & you have no contingency plan, your organization is toast & dead in the water.

  4. Nice and mutually beneficial move by the Patriots and Brady. They get tons of space under the cap, he gets a boatload of guaranteed money. Barring catastrophic events that would deep-six the team anyway, this sets them up for the remainder of his career.

I'm in agreement with the stories floating around that this HAD to include some kind of "handshake agreement" about retaining Welker. As others have said, it also sets them up to keep both Talib and Volmer, if they want that. Or to go out and be active in the market.

Love the guy or hate him, you have to admit... this is a rare thing to see in sports these days. Brady's going to make about half the money he could make over the final stretch of his career. It's nice to see an athlete put winning first through his actions and not just his words. Brady's more than set for life, and will be able to take care of his family too, and he knows it. Making an extra $20 million isn't really going to change his life at all, he'll still have everything and anything he ever desired... but winning another title would.

Exactly, Brady is smart enough to know A) He is already financially set for life, B) Again, I don't live in Boston, but I would suspect that he could easily command a nice disposable income just on being a pitchman for endorsement deals equal to that of Peyton Manning, & C) The only darn thing that matters now is a 4th SB ring & once he reaches that plateau & he will; His NFL legacy is secure & the money will come flooding in like a ten fold  Tsunami or tidal wave. Tom Brady is one smart field general. Take less money now to come out smelling like a rose in the end or should I say a lifetime supply of clam chowder in the end.  haha

  5. Kelly had it made at Oregon, great recruits, great team year in and year out. His innovative,  fast paced offense gave everyone headaches. That style will not translate into the NFL. He has no prior NFL experience, and is coming into a mess in Philly. IMO, Kelly is a great Collegiate coach, but I don't think he'll do well in the pros..

No NFL experience...This glaring shortcoming will be his fatal flaw. 1-800-train-wreck. Both the NY Jets & the Philadelphia Eagles may be green in team colors, but they will certainly not be money this year IMO.

  6. Sounds like Tom & Gisele may be planning on building another mansion:

It’s being reported that Brady and his bride also want to have a home in Brookline.

The dream spot is 5.2 acres of prime real estate owned by Pine Manor College, land the school wants to sell. The plot plan proposal submitted to the the town calls for a very large house, a smaller one for domestic help, and a third building, reportedly to be used as a yoga studio.

Does Tom have an architect on speed dial standby? I'm just curious...Gotta keep the wife & kids happy you know...And Paul McCartney said that "money can't buy me love." Yeah right!  :funny:

  7. Pats will pick up a first along with next week's lottery numbers in exchange for Mallet. If anyone can beat the system, it's them.

Did Dr.  Faustus [a work of famous literature] strike a deal with Lucifer again? Bill Belichick cannot be denied. So it is written...So it shall be done...The Grey Hoodie is very powerful indeed. Just Kidding!!!

  8. I am not a cap expert but I read this now gives the Pats around 30 million in cap space now for this offseason? :mindblow:

There are also rumors that Welker may return now but nothing is confirmed.

How the Pats always manage this stuff is beyond me. I swear, I envy/hate them at the same time every single season. :panic: They are going to try to add more pieces to get that 4th SB ring for Brady, we all know this.

I think you need to keep Welker if possible. Forget the drops at times. You want to replace that dude? He is open 24/7 for Gods sakes and is in sync with Brady.

I got a feeling he is not too fond of Packers QBs. lmao

But, yeah moving on. This is about Brady. Leave Grandpa alone!!!!!!

Jules, I have often marveled at that one myself. How does NE restock & reload every single off season? It's right up there with below average guys who frequently land stunning knockout girlfriends. 2 words: Mike Mayock. Absolutely right. Wes Welker must be resigned in NE. There is a picture of him under the word: reliable. haha Way to protect Grandpa Interception there! I have no love for #4 either, but your sentiment was kind of touching for an over hyped field general. I will just leave it at that. Brett Favre does not part the Great Lakes, "Land of 10,000 Lakes," or the Red Sea like Moses in my book & he never ever will.

  9. I guess what bothers me most about this whole thing is that eventually Manti just needs to shut the bleep up & play. Stop going on the talk show circuit & if you call a press conference with the media either read a statement & leave right afterwards. Or sit their among the media blitzkrieg & answer every single question. This kid has no thick skin at all IMO. An NFL locker room of team mates & their "girlfriend" scrutiny would eat him alive for breakfast.

  10. He tackled pretty well before Alabama...and the Hoax......Maybe we should nickname him the Jinx!   :)  How to you forget how to tackle...... :hmm:

You're right Brent. That's exactly what GMs are asking him. He has a nose for the football, but the Crimson Tide "rolled" all over him like a flattened cherry pie. Awareness of ball movement is great. Failing to stop the ball dead in it's tracks not so great. I wish Manti well in the NFL, but I don't want him period.

  11. It's not as if Manti T'eo is on the same LB level as Junior Seau also of Samoan descent. I just don't see greatness in this kid. His judgement worries me & his damage control resolution capabilities leave a lot to be desired & I am being generous with that description too.

  12. If he was good enough, then no, I wouldn't mind. That'll blow over if he makes an impact, or just even plays well..I just don't think he's as good as advertised, and the Colts really don't need an ILB

Nailed it Walter! I mean CF4L. Bravo.  :hat: Where is his head at? He's a public relations nightmare. Not even interested in him as an undrafted player.

  13. I think the chat should be open for tomorrow's workouts. DB's Galore tomorrow Guys!!!!

I guess I need to pay attention tomorrow then. All I really want in April is about 3 decent o-linemen to give Luck a clean pocket, keep him upright, & help Ballard excel in the running game. We need to see our RBs hit the 2nd level before they are stopped.

  14. "Everybody here, you treasure your last name." What? How about focusing your attention on football & rebuilding your reputation Manti Te'o. You're not really in any position to critique anyone on honor & integrity right now sir. We all make mistakes sure, but you did nothing to stop this fabricated story from spreading. At some point, you must "Man up" & tell the truth. You have refused to do that Mr. Te'o.

  15. Like many people have accurately stated "the eye in the sky doesn't lie." Quality control/film study, medical examinations, & interviews are the only darn thing that matters. Everything else is window dressing. Don't fall in love with a rookie just because he is chiseled & ripped in the 40 yard dash. Well said everyone. Well said.

Just because a woman may look fine in a bikini that doesn't mean you sprint down the wedding aisle. Get a full assessment of the person & situation 1st. Otherwise, your franchise will simply flush millions down the toilet for no good reason.

  16. With 3 home wins over playoff teams too......road games are the issue to work on and when we really got exposed with our inexperience and youth at times I felt.

And if you want to get really technical then this 11-5 "fluff" team lost to the Baltimore Ravens. The same Baltimore Ravens who beat the heavily favored 13-3 Broncos and the 12-4 Patriots. And honestly I don't want to get into the "well the Broncos had the lead in the end before the secondary blew it" too. A loss is a loss.

I just think to this day still.......some are trying to grasp that this team won as many games as it did last year and how it happened.. When I browse various forums/articles I still don't think people take us truly seriously. Maybe as a "cute" potential playoff team again but there are still going to be heavy doubts out there until we do it again, which is fine and understandable.

I don't feel this Colts team was a fluke. There is talent/leadership/brains and it starts with our new QB and HC.

Talent/wins begin with our QB, our HC, a decent center, & a great offensive line. Success in the NFL begins & ends with protection upfront & very few QB sacks IMO.
