Don't know if this really works, going to set up today and check it out. Was forwarded to me by my father and wanted to share for what it might be worth,
ZIP LOCK BAG - Good tip!
"]We went with friends to a restaurant on Sunday for lunch and sat in
the patio section beside the store. We happened to notice zip lock baggies
pinned to a post and a wall. The bags were half filled with water, each
contained 4 pennies, and they were zipped shut. Naturally we were curious!
The owner told us that these baggies kept the flies away! So naturally we
were even more curious! We actually watched some flies come in the open
window, stand around on the window sill, and then fly out again. And there
were no flies in the eating area! This morning I checked this out on Google.
Below are comments on this fly control idea. I'm now a believer!
    Zip-lock water

]I tried the zip lock bag and pennies this weekend.. I have a horse
trailer. The flies were bad while I was camping. I put the baggies with
pennies above the door of the LQ. NOT ONE FLY came in the trailer.
The horse trailer part had many. Not sure why it works but it does!

Fill a zip lock bag with water and 5 or 6 pennies and hang it in the problem area.
In my case it was a particular window in my home. It had a slight passage way
for insects. Every since I have done that, it has kept flies and wasps away.
Some say that wasps and flies mistake the bag for some other insect nest and
    are threatened.

I swear by the plastic bag of water trick. I have them on porch and
basement. We saw these in Northeast Mo. at an Amish grocery store
& have used them since. They say it works because a fly sees a reflection
    & won't come around.

Regarding the science behind zip log bags of water? My research found that the
millions of molecules of water presents its own prism effect and given that flies
have a lot of eyes, to them it's like a zillion disco balls reflecting light, colors and
movement in a dizzying manner. When you figure that flies are prey for many other
bugs, animals, birds, etc., they simply won't take the risk of being around that much
perceived action. I moved to a rural area and thought these "hillbillies" were just
yanking my city boy chain but I tried it and it worked immediately! We went from
hundreds of flies to seeing the occasional one, but he didn't hang around long.

Went to yesterdays mini camp at LOS yesterday and had a good time. This is the first mini camp/training camp I have been to. As a season ticket holder,, obviously anxious to get a look at the new and old players. It was nice to be able to walk around the stadium freeely without the crowd of people you have on game day.
Took some random picks and posted them in the Gallery here under Colts mini camp.
Thought Luck looked good after warming up as all the reports say. During initial warmups all 5 QBs throwing good, but then when you are not under presssure and don't have 300+ lb defensive guys trying to take you out, it is a lot easier to step back and toss the football.
Seemed to me that a few players getting a lot of reps on the field, though probably just an impression with all the action going on. Cosby was very active and seems to have good hands and speed. Brazill and Fayson also very prominent and showing abilities.
Saw TY Hilton on field but he didn't seem to be participating, injury or something???
Vinatieri looks good and doesn't seem to have aged any, 51 yarder right through the middle. If he were to get hurt, McAfee seems quite capable of filling in, couple 41 yarders with plenty more distance there right through the middle. Long snaps being split between Snow and Overton.
Castonza and Ijalana both on sideline together working out drills and stamina runs.
Fleener and Allen both looking good, assume we will have a 3rd TE but can't tell who at this point.
Irsay was walking around edge of the field near end of practice talking to fans ans signing autographs.
90 players out there old and new, almost half them will be gone by September. Looking forward to training camp end of July and plan to take a trip or two up there.

Sure most of you have seen and heard this.; Enjoyed listening to him, he is very precise and articulate. Much easier to listen to than Irsay, I like Irsay but his speaking skills leave something to be deisred. Great football mind but not a speaker, he should keep Grigson out in front as the team spokesman.

I have a small hope regarding those people that have posted and stated that now with Peyton released, they will never support, watch, or have anything to do with the Colts ever again. My hope is that a number of you are season ticket holders with seats in the lower Club Section. Since not supporting the Colts you will be giving those up which is great, the wife and I are hoping to upgrade our season tickets.

It's been a busy week and wild with the Free Agency in the league. There are over 400 free agents and a lot of them still sitting out there in limbo land. Only 4 of the Colts free agents have had action and found a home so far. Reportedly a couple, Gonzalez and Wheelere have appointements to visit teams this weekend. Look forward to the coming weeks to see how much movement there is, possibly some return to Colts with lower salary if needed. Wouldn't mind seeing Tamme, Wheeler, and yes those haters, even Lacey.

Only 4 hours away from the next stage of this years circus. Free agency about to go into effect , let the scrambling and party begin. Going to be another wave of our favorite team members going on to the next step in their careers. Let's wish them all well as they move on. Hopefully some stay onboard to help the new recruits and the transition of the team to the next rise towards greatness. The next few weeks will get interesting and then the draft frenzy begins. GO COLTS, GO BLUE.

This was indeed a sad week that passed for the Colts fans and organization, but one that we knew had to come. I wish nothing but the best for Peyton as he moves on, including a Super Bowl win to add to his record. In time the Colts will rise to that level again, never with someone of Peytons caliber and character, but not only am I a Peyton fan and will remain one, I am TRUE BLUE and a Colts fan. This change was inevitable, just thought more in the future, unfortunately the future snuck up and kicked us in the butt when we didnt expect it. This is a game and a business, unfortunately we enjoyed Peyton and his ability and kept spending money to keep the status quo and not plan for the future. Now the spending and future have caught up with us. I look forward to the upcoming changes and challenges and will remain a fan and season ticket holder. Best wishes to those that have left and will be leaving, I look forward to the new faces and challenges ahead. Go Colts!!!!!!!!!
