    I am ok drafting WR and not signing big time FA as long as they aren’t 6th rounders. Have to use higher draft picks.

    When you need a long term QB and it’s a good draft class you have to think ahead. It actually set us back. It’s not like players didn’t like Jacoby. They loved him. Instead of yelling rivers that they would look for a upgrade why not tell him they might draft and ask him to help with that. Maybe he comes back because of assured him a year instead of being in limbo.

    Actually the mistake might of been bringing rivers in with Jacoby already under contract. Why not just start Jacoby again and get the highest pick you can. Sets you up in the draft. Players loved him as a leader. Ballard said he was a elite leader.
