Good memory. Totally forgot about his smack talk prior to the game.

Thanks for the positive post. So much doom and gloom on here, I just don't understand it. I haven't had this much fun watching the Colts in a long time, especially the defense. Sure they make some mistakes, but they are super young and flying around like crazy.

I don't worry about football, I just enjoy it.

It's all about perspective. For a 10th pick (or whatever Ebron was), he was a bust from Detroit's perspective. As a relatively low risk free agent signing, he seems like a great pick up from my perspective as a Colts fan.

Actually being realistic and not being a homer, 9-7 is very possible with a healthy Luck, revamped Offense, better O.Line, better Coaching, and a improved faster Defense.
This ^^^^. Love where we are headed. Can't wait to watch it.

We need to win up front on both sides of the ball. Aaron Donald is a game changer in that regard. No problem giving up a first for that kind of talent.

What a great pick-up by CB!

Here’s what the Colts call a refresher. A position by position breakdown of the current roster.
15 offensive linemen, I expect they’ll carry about 10
13 wide receivers, I expect 5-6 to be on the final roster
15 defensive linemen, Reich preached about rushing the passer in “waves”. So could they keep 10? That’s the position I’m most interested in heading into TC and the 53 man cut down
Also, this roster turnover/overhaul is insane. So many names and faces I have to learn. Won’t worry about learning jersey numbers really until the final cuts happen

Couldn't agree more with that last statement. Not sure I ever remember a training camp like this one will be. With very few exceptions, every spot on the roster seems like it is "up for grabs."

I agree with this assessment. Going to be interesting to see what happens when we finally have a decent O-line.

Sooooo........what do you think he means by big........hmmmmmmmm. This offseason is WAY too long. lol

Well said. I share your concern. It seems pretty rare that a 4-3 would be executed well without a good MLB

It wouldn't surprise me to see him add a WR. Looking at the WR depth chart, if they keep 6 WRs, it's tough to imagine the Colts going into the season with two rookies and some PS player (like Listenbee).
CB is another spot I could see them adding. For someone that preaches depth and competition, there sure isn't a ton of it at the CB position. I think Breeland could definitely be a fit.
The other position I could see is OT. I wonder if Ballard would roll the dice on Greg Robinson. He's been a huge bust, but maybe the new coaches think they can get something out of him. Another option would be a vet like Austin Howard. There's also potential trade options...like the RT from MIA.
Great call on Austin Howard!

Do any of you think we will add additional FA's that will change this?

The CJ Anderson comment brings up a great question, now that the draft is over, who should the Colts target in FA?

Might as well bring him in for a workout at least. What do we have to lose by taking a look?
