  1. Dwayne Allen's response to this:

    Dwayne Allen ✔ @Dallen83 Follow

@NFLonFOX not a story. They could have played with soap for balls and beat us. Simply the better team. We have to continue to build! #BTM

    1:55 AM - 21 Jan 2015

Solid example of a Colts player demonstrating class.

Not sure how it helps the Pats look like less of scumbags, but still thanks for reminding me why I like my team.

  2. since you guys are so concerned with the integrity of the game, i can only assume you were all blasting the Colts throughout the Suck For Luck year? Afterall, tanking is far bigger slap in the face of integrity than doctoring balls.

I also assume the baseball fans amongst you get equally enraged at teams that steal signs and doctor balls, right?

Or any hockey fans in the group must have en eagle eye looking for inconsistencies in a player's stick curve

Best way to combat real allegations?

    Imaginary ones.

Pats fans never cease to amaze me.

  3. Why? Some players habitually hold, commit pass interference. Grab a face mask. Where do we draw the line?

By the way, the reason they have officials rather than play on the "honor system" is due to human nature. To pretend that one team is cheating while the others are lilly white is pretty insane.

This is no more severe than any other rules infraction, and it is less severe than intentionally hurting or attempting to hurt/maim/injure an opponent.

What's the difference between manslaughter and murder?

  4. Laugh, you know at yourself. Nice of you to declare to everyone that you won the argument.

I think it's pretty obvious who's making the better points here. Sorry if you didn't pick up on it.

You're whole argument is based on the fallacy that the Pats are getting critiqued more than other cheaters. Which is only a deflection at best.

Taken into consideration that I blast all cheaters the same, you can even go back into the threads of the 2/4 incidences you referenced earlier and see my posts, you're agrument falls apart.

Sorry buddy. Have a nice glass a milk and chill out. You'll feel better.

  5. The only reason I am upset its because of the indignation here, which is laughable considering all the other rule breaking that is going on. I see people railing on about cheating, but don't see the same animosity to the other cheaters. It's the Patriots. Admit it and move on. If it was any other team, you wouldn't care.

tl;dr: The indignation is not about the actual cheating, it's just because the Patriots did it.

You aren't upset. You are upset. Make up your mind.

So on the message board of the team who the Pats cheated against, people care more?GEE WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT?!?!?

    TLDR: MINDBLOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And not only did they cheat against the Colts, it's far from their first cheat as well.

But please. If you think it's just Colts fans you're deluding yourself. Give Google a whirl. I don't think you'll like the public perception of your team.

BB knew what he was getting himself into. I feel bad for the fans who now have to rationalize this.

"We aren't the only scumbag cheaters guys!!!! Be fair!!!!!"

  6. Not really all that sad coming off of a 45-7 thrashing in the AFC Championship game. I find the indignation on this board totally over the top. There are quite a few Colts fans that try to interject logic into this thread and are immediately shouted down by other Colts fans with pitchforks.

    But YMMV.

haha you're so defensive. So you aren't upset that your team is taking heat, yet you're taking your free time to sit here and argue with all these posters on here?

Please little guy. You aren't going to work me up by bringing up our loss. I'm over that lol.

I only hope the Pats wind up on the other side of a team cheating them to hear the sound of backpedaling.

  7. IF? Carolina WAS cheating and got caught. They got off with a warning.

See this to me is laughable, and shows cherry picking. Ignore the cheaters, except the ones you don't like.

#This post doesn't change that the Pats cheated and deserve whatever public outcry they get. The Pats should be better than this. Apparently they aren't. You reap what you sow.

I get that you're a super sad guy that everyone is trashing your team, but that's what happens when you cheat.

  8. Do you have any clue how many rules violations there were recently? Come on take a guess.

    The Seahawks held illegal practices.

The Jets repeated tampered with players.

Washington and Dallas recently violated the cap.

The Pittsburgh coach tried to trip a player IN THE FIELD OF PLAY.

    Where is the outrage?

There was outrage for 2/4 of those examples.

You fail at playing the victim. But your blind loyalty is admirable.

  9. No but wait, people on here have said they hate cheaters no matter what? Now it sounds like you hate some cheaters, but let others slide because "the games don't matter as much".

If that isn't some sort of wacky double standard than I don't know what is.

People also hate multiple offense cheaters who cheat in the biggest games too. If this were accusations against the Ravens or Colts. You would be melting down.

  10. Where is the Rodgers outcry then?

It is absolutely 100% because of the Pats success and that they were caught 8 years ago... If the fricken Jets were caught, no one blink twice. Rodgers admitted on the air to overinflating the balls to get a better grip, where is the outrage? Carolina was caught heating balls, AGAINST THE RULES! Show me the 50 page thread dedicated to that?

You guys are fooling yourselves over the "no one likes cheaters" line. We all know it's because it happened to the Pats.

Defensive, the world is out to get me, whiny, Pats fans are without a doubt the best Pats fans.

Don't worry buddy. Good Ol Roger will find a way to get you out of this mess. He's good for it.

Also people hate cheaters. But they especially hate multiple offense cheaters. Food for thought.

  11. I didn't realize that I made the point that all those instances I mentioned were ok...I was simply asking if the responses we're seeing were worthy of 'the crime'.

And as it turns out, many are agreeing with me about it only being blown up this much if because its the Patriots. Nowhere did I say what they did was ok...I have only mentioned the responses to the action in each of my posts...

Justifying it as a "lesser cheat", is justifying the situation. And yes people are reacting because a multiple offender of cheating, is accused of cheating. Find me anywhere, that isn't the case. It's not a Pats thing. It's a people hate cheaters thing.

  12. Again, I'm not justifying anything...and it sounds like most responding are, in fact, agreeing with my assessment that 'because its the Patriots, people are angry'.

That isn't me defending the action, I'm simply giving my opinion on the responses to it.

As was asked on one of the news programs...is this any different than say, pine tar on a pitchers hand? A hockey stick with a little extra bend? All are against the rules and Im not saying whether or not is the same...but I believe the vitriolic response to THIS one is 100% attributed to the team that is under question...and not the action itself.

That's all I was asking, I was just curious.

You were absolutely, and continue on, justifying the situation, and the outrage, not asking an innocuous question lol.

People seem to not enjoy cheaters cheating multiple times and getting no repercussions, that's not a Pats thing. That's a life thing.
