  1. That last bit was less in reference to anything you said specifically. I meant it more in the sense that, even though the woman had no clue at the time, Pat had no malicious intent and wasn't trying to cause harm.

Didn't mean to imply those were your thoughts. Apologies for that.

  2. Not married or have kids, but I am the only boy in a family of 5 girls so I think I have a good grasp on what women go through. Most likely more than most men want to know lol.

I'm sure it was scary the minute it happened but once the cops came and sorted everything out I'm sure she was fine. Let's not blow it out of proportion like she's haunted by the incident to this very day.

There are much worse things that can happen late at night in the city is my point I suppose. No big deal though I understand what you were saying

  3. I think this was a wise choice by Roger to stay of the disciplinary action in this issue, since it was a personal attack on him.

I do not see Mike Tomlin letting it slide though.

Wouldn't be surprised if he talked about punishments with the Rooneys, and chose to let them hand out what they see fit.

Saving face a little bit maybe?

  4. I misread the initial post. I thought this was a new incident. Not a rehash of his old. My mistake. :)

And I'm sure the woman who Pat came up to is still having nightmares about what happened. Very traumatic lol

  5. Mis-read your post...Yes, I agree...At the least.

Exactly, and that was what I was trying to say. McAfee's actions didn't endanger other lives. But Moala's offense was not only worse than Pat's, it was also his second.

Should have made that more clear I suppose lol

  6. Just to add. The players voted for Goodell to have the powers he does. They then had the option to change his authority (I.E appeals) within this new CBA, and chose not to push the issue because they didn't see it as that big of a deal.

So again I fail to see what the problem with Goodell is. But that's just my opinion and my take on the matter.

  7. haha high profile people are frequently in the media's eye doesn't apply to this situation? How do you figure that doesn't make sense? Now-a-days you hear quotes from D-coordinators calling out teams for crying out loud. Everyone is more visible with our 24 hour media cycle. If you don't know how that applies to this situation, we will have to just agree to disagree :)

And David Stern is judge, jury, and executioner in the NBA. So please tell me what the difference between these two are? ( Not a very big into baseball so I'm not sure the extent Selig controls that sport. Sorry baseball fans lol)

It's a commissioner they are suppose to be the one making the hard decisions and "protecting the shield" If you let the players make decisions on fines, my guess is there wouldn't be very many handed out. Same goes for suspensions.

  8. In what other sport is the commissioner not prevalent though? You see and hear Bud Selig and David Stern all the time in the MLB and NBA respectively.

I'm not sure how saying Goodell is an active commissioner equates to making a "good point"

In our day and age anyone in a high profile position is basically stalked by the media as it is, so I don't really understand what Clark is trying to get at.
