  1. Of the playoff contenders we met this year we lost to four of them during the regular season. And the only close one we lost was to Denver in week 1 by 7. The rest were stompings.

I'll bet if we were to compare our records over the last three years only against teams that went to the playoffs (or maybe over 500 teams) I'll guess this was our worst of the three...and isn't that the ultimate objective, who do we play and how well do we perform in the post season?

You wouldn't say the 2 wins in the post season went towards the ultimate objective? Who cares how many playoff teams we beat in the regular season. We lost our first game Lucks rookie year. And barely, just barely, beat the Chiefs last year.

  2. "we are trash all of a sudden"...You are quite the drama queen aren't you. I never said we are at that point.

Why would you want our fan base to be Browns or Raiders fans? We are Colts fans and expect more. Just like most other fan bases expect more of their teams then settling for 2nd best. But we have been on the verge of greatness for over 20 years but never seem to make that final step (16 playoff seasons, 2 Superbowls, one win against the Bears during a typhoon).

"Must be nice to live in your world where you think this years team resembles anything to the two years prior?"... I have no idea what this means. Why would it be nice to think we are the same as last year?.....Frankly, it's irritating.

haha drama queen. Right. I'm the one calling his team on its no progression after we lose. Because funny enough I don't remember you posting these things after we beat the Broncos and the Bengals. I also don't really attributing you to saying we were trash. It's a figure of speech call hyperbole. Is generally used when one is trying to make a point.

I would love to watch how many of our fans squirm watching a team that is actually bad instead of endlessly harping on an AFCCG team, and qualifying every single win. It would be beyond humorous to me. Because everyone in this fanbase is spoiled by the great run we've had in the last two decades. Whether they choose to act childish and spoiled is an entirely different matter.

And yes. Your bubble sounds quite nice. No one can hurt you there. No reason to actually evaluate our team and its talents. Just react to the latest loss. Must be so easy......

  3. Overreaction...hmmm.

So we get our @sses handed to us by Dallas, Pittsburgh and NE x2 this year but last year we beat the AFC Champ and the Superbowl champs and you think we are improving? Must be nice to live in your rose-colored world.

Did you forget all the teams who handed us our butts last year? Did you forget how we barely clawed out of the first round of the playoffs. Did you forget the same Pats knocked us out twice, and have a 50/50 chance of ending the season in the same way we did? Just because we didn't beat a team that's been 15 years in the making doesn't mean we are trash all of a sudden.

I wish for one day half out fanbase could be Browns or Raiders fans. Most wouldn't survive.

Must be nice to live in your world where you think this years team resembles anything to the two years prior.

  4. Guys, the Ravens blew up their team in 2012, and very well could have gone to the Super Bowl in 2 years. Next year, if they fix the secondary, they should be a contender to win. The Colts are in the same place, and there is no such thing as a four year rebuild.

No no no Crow. Rebuilds only take one season. It should actually be even quicker when you're replacing a HOF QB.

The Colts are pretty pathetic for not beating a team in the playoffs that no one else has beaten.

  5. Dumb...obviously it's better than 2-14. But once Luck was on board how much have we improved? Like I already stated (which you obviously didn't read) there has been little-no improvement since then. Whoopie cr@p!! We made to the AFCCG. But the only reason we made it that far is we played Cincinnati & wounded Peyton instead of Pittsburgh/Baltimore or NE in the wildcard & divisional. Frankly, we were a better team last year then this year. It was the luck of the draw....not that we are better then prior years.

    Dumb is spot on.

We posted dominating wins over a Bengals team, who thrashed us last year, and a Broncos team who despite a "wounded" Peyton were still winning games.

The Pats are better right now. There's no question about that. But this team is better than any other team since the Luck era.

    Such overreaction to one loss.

  6. IMO, I don't think we have improved over the last three years. The only reason we made it to the AFCCG was because we didn't play NE until then.....just the luck of the draw/rankings.

The way we were playing, if we had met NE in the wildcard or division we would have lost. And frankly, the way the Ravens played NE we probably would have lost to them also.

If you don't think this team is better than 3 years ago, you should get your eyes check. Or an HD TV.

  7. As I told Mod Superman.... I was dealing with family issues, excuse me for putting my personal life before a internet pass time

But hey, believe what you want....

    Thanks I will :)

  8. ..... And how many playoff games has Dalton won? How many times has the defense given him numerous chances to win and he failed? Stop lying to yourself, Dalton is trash

Peyton was hurt & flat out terrible in round 2. Missed Sanders a few times when he beat Toler deep.

Then like I said, played some real competition & BOOM.... Got bent over and spanked for the 4th time in a row by the same team

I'm spoiled in life as the only child & grandchild.... Not spoiled as a colts fan though

You were conspicuously absent during those two wins. I wonder why you decided to resurface as soon as we lost?

To whine? To complain? To diminish the previous wins as soon as we lost in the AFCCG?

Naw. Only a spoiled fan would act in that manner.

  9. Yea they are on the up.. Luck went to wild card round his 1st year.. divisional round his 2nd year.. AFCCG his 3rd year.. Thats impressive stuff, he continues to get better and better each year and is a likeable guy.. ive said it before and ill say it again, I like Andrew Luck a lot.. not in a gay way or anything, but hes an awesome QB... but then again, everyone knew he was going to be a great... I dont even follow college football and I knew Andrew Luck's name his freshman year because of all the talk about him..

The Colts were very, very fortunate to be sitting at pick #1 the year that Luck declared. Very lucky..

Yeah it was definitely deflating for the other teams hoping to get Andrew.

  10. This is absolutely insane what is going on with the media, which is being driven by social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook.

This is all that really needs to be said right now:

    We're on to Seattle!

haha. I feel so sorry for Pats fans today. They either have to accept disappointment in their team, or delude themselves into this bubble or safety where no bad words can reach them.
