The uefa (european soccer association) has a campaign called "no to racism" since a few years.Sometimes single clubs are doing anti racism actions with t-shirts or printings on their game jerseys. Or speeches held by players before games.

The text above the picture was like the club stands for diversity and tolerance and an world open Berlin. So against racism.

I understand racism is very prevalent at some European soccer games. I remember an incident where a fan threw a banana at a black player.
There are probably places in the world where racism is an even bigger problem than here in the US.
There were far more incidents of racism in the past. There are even some clubs that are popular for racist fan culture.
It's especially a problem in eastern Europe.
Back to the topic.... On one hand i think every sign against racism is good, on the other hand i'm a little bit skeptic if it's ok to attach the kneeling bevor the game....

The german soccer team Hertha BSC from Berlin takes a knee bevor the match to join protests against racism.

What do you think about that? Is this a good sign or out of place?
Are there other teams/leagues outside USA that joined the protests?

Off topic?!

I think if AL is back by week 12 it won't be that bad. We have nothing to loose this season. So we shouldn't get him back on the field too soon. If we go 6 - 10 or smthng like that with JB playing till week 12 or 13....good... better draft position. If JB improves and gets us to 8-8 or better.... Great too, better trade value for him (if someone tries to get after him). Imo as long as AL is healthy long term, the better it is. Even if that means he's out another 3,4 or more weeks. I want him to play at full health for the next 6 or more years... Not only the rest of the season or less.

That's sad to hear

A lot of "if" when predicting a 10-6 or even 11-5 season. Since we hired Ballard, it feels like there's an optimistic mood around the colts. Like everybody, not just the fans, is fired up. There's the hope and the feeling to get something big started in the near future. To carry that over to the season and get off to a strong start will be important on how this season will develop. And even if we don't make the playoffs, it's important to see improvement on the defensive side of the ball and keep the optimistic mood alive. Developing a top tier def will take us minimum one more draft and offseason. We shouldn't be impatient and bet on a deep playoff run right now. But handing the keys to our young players or rookies on defense is the key to a bright future for our franchise.

I would take Bell. I picked him last year in the 2nd round despite his 4 game suspension. It worked out pretty good.

I hope it's not too early. But still made my day!

I think T. Y. is probably the most underrated player in the nfl right now. No big talks about him anywhere..... The top 100 list #61 is ridiculous. But i think that will never change. No matter how much yards he 'll get. He doesn't make a big show out of his own, that's why the media is only talking about guys like obj. But at the end it's not the show that counts.....
-
This projection is ridiculous. Not only the colts. The titans will never get 12 wins. And i think the Lions will win more than 5 games. But i'm ok with that. Most experts underestimate us so we can just play without much pressure. Remember 2 years ago when we made strong moves in the offseason and most of those socalled experts saw us in the afc titlegame or even at the sb.....
-
I think our defense will be around 15th to 20th (if we stay healthy) thanks to our schedule the first 6 weeks. By week 7 or 8 our def should better be clickin already with the divisional games comin.
-
I think there will never be that one G.O.A.T.
Football is a team sport and no player can win a game or even a ring alone by himself (imagine edelman hadnt caught that damn ball last sb). And keep in mind, that the rules have changed a lot over the last 20,30 or 40 years, in this discussion....
