Think we should trade up to 32 to secure guice before the browns take him.

I think IF Darnold is there at 2, the giants can't pass on that opportunity.

Cards trade 15, 47 and 143
For SF 9 and 170

I would be ok with that draft.
But....so excited to watch Thursday to Friday night!
Love to get Edmunds at 12 and adress the passrush with the trade at 22.
In Ballard we trust

Lol we got lucky that kook backed out. Worthless punk born with a silver spoon in his mouth...Probably got beat up on the playground. Let him take over the Patriots franchise in 2-3 years Lol... They'll be on the downward trend anyways.
That's what i hope, too. Brady will retire by no later than 2020 and so will Belichick.

By the way.... That sentence by CB is printed on my newest training shirt.
Motivates me
But why boo at him? We have to be glad that he backed out. He wasn't in to it with all of his heart.

I think IF we trade up at some point it will be into the late 1st round to grab a OG/OT if we got chubb at 6....
-
Allen is visiting the giants this week. So maybe....

I think Edmunds would be the better pick at LB. Imo he has the higher ceiling and is more versatile than smith. So, if Chubb and Nelson are gone at 6(what i think will be the case), i would be happy to get edmunds. With our 3 picks in the 2nd we can still get quality players along the lines on both sides of the ball.(and a rb)

I hope we can take EQ St. Brown in the 3rd or 4th round if he's still available at that point. But i think Ballard won't take a reciever in the first 3 rounds, as we have bigger holes to fill on our roster where the draft class is deeper and privides more upside even in later rounds.

Rd #1 pick 6 B. Chubb, DE N. C. State
Rd #2 pick 36 O'Neill, OT Pittsburgh
Rd #2 pick 37 Michel, RB Georgia
Rd #2 pick 49 M. Jefferson, LB Texas
Rd #3 pick 67 M. J. Stewart, CB North Carolina
Rd #4 pick 104 Nwosu, LB USC
Rd #5 pick 140 E. St. Brown, WR Notre Dame ( more a wish than a thought, don't think he'll drop that far)
The rest of the draft i have no clue. Not deep enough into it

What if Chubb, Barkley, and Nelson go top 5, and no one wants to trade up for our pick? at that point, I think Fitzpatrick may be our man
That is a case i even don't want to think about
But if it happens that way we should take bpa. That would probably be fitz.
But i pray for an early qb run (3 or 4 out of the first 5 picks)

Derwin James is another one that strikes me as a Ballard guy. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if we end up with either him or Fitzpatrick at #6.
Imo taking a db at 6 won't help the team and would be a waste.
If we stay at 6 we have to draft OL or a blue chip pass rusher. Because
1)we have to protect our franchise qb first
2)even if we have a solid to great secondary, it's useless if we can't create pressure to the opposing qb. Nearly every qb will get the job done if he has 4 or 5 seconds to throw. Then even good db's are lost.
My opinion

Like this one. Terms?

I think there are a lot of teams with more draft ammo that need a qb. Those teams would probably pay more to the browns or broncos to climb up the board.
And you have to think about the future of the pats franchise. Brady won't last forever and they will probably have to draft (and develop) a qb this or next year. So giving up next years 1st would put them in abad position to do so.
Or they keep being the pats and surprise everyone.
But i don't think they will do a trade like this.
-
If neither chubb or nelson is there we could still trade back a few spots or take the best player available. We have so many holes to fill that we almost can't go wrong no matter who we pick in the 1st.
-
Maybe a FA?
Or they're speculating that the Broncos or Jets get Cousins and are willing to trade back so they can pick a qb.
-
Just read this
This is really surprising!
Doesn't make much sense to me.
-
Friday morning and you have to read this.... Thought this was killin my day quite early.... But than i thought about it.
That would be many 1st rounders tghis and next year. And if we trade luck i think we will get another 1st rd pick next year as a compensatory pick.or maybe two.......
-
If landry is still on the dolphins roster at draft day AND barkley and chubb are gone at 3....then trade down with a qb needy team and consider a trade with the extra picks we got. But trading out of the #3 pick before the draft, that would be stupid imo.

Don't think so. Their picks were solid / ok, but no steal imo.
GB is the biggest winner of this draft i think.
Our draft was good too. In position to grab some 1st round talent today. Like it.
