No player in particular. My sarcasm was directed at the fact that any time someone voiced disagreement with Ballard, they get blasted for it. Especially coming off the Free Agency period where he made very few moves, which I didn’t agree with. It’s like if you don’t blindly have faith in every move he makes then you’re not a true fan or something. People who agree with Ballard make it seem like they are more of a fan than those who question certain moves.

Ok, cheers for the clarity. I have to admit that I’ve been pretty happy with Ballard so far, even like the latest Williams pick up. Not saying you, as I’m pretty new on here and not sussed everyone out yet, but some people are too quick to judge folk in sport in general. You have to give guys time to get everyone on board with their vision going forward.

@csmopar My post about not questioning Ballard is included here because? Did I say dude was a bum? Did I say this was a bad pick? Actually did I say anything about Leonard at all

I’m not on here to argue with folk, but there is definite sarcasm in that post that he’s quoted of yours, so which player/players were you referring to?

If we could get these right all the time, we’d probably have a different career path. Well done to everyone who did call it though.

People will cite his 50,000 + passing yards.   He'll probably retire #5 in passing yards.

I don't think that should get him in the HOF.   He should be compared to QB's of his era, not all time.

Ha ha, while I agree, I hope awards are never given based mostly off of what a player did in fantasy.

Ha Ha, Definitely not, was just a little added point that i’d noticed.

If I'm Frank Reich, I'm printing this and all the other people counting us as a blow out win for the Pats off, posting this on EVERY locker in that room. and challenging the players to prove them wrong.

Everywhere you look, it’s a blow out, I’m actually starting to love it. The pats could go in to this believing that this is going to be a walk in the park. These Colts players will have seen this and if they aren’t up for it, then they aren’t fit to be wearing the best jersey in the NFL. As long as these guys fight for this, then that will do me, onwards and upwards.

    I agree.

I was arguing with a guy who thinks Phillip Rivers should be a lock for the HOF.   He said because he is top 10 in this and top 10 in that.

I asked him if Rivers was ever considered a top 3 QB in any year he has played?   The answer was NO.  Maybe not even top 5.

I’ve never considered Rivers to be up there with the best. He always seems like he’s trying to force everything in games. Definitely not in the top 5 imo. I’ve never even had or tried to have him in any fantasy league. He’s never one of the QB’s that go off the board early in leagues to anyone either...says it all.

Who cares if he plays or not? Lot of Wimps on this board this week.

    bunch of defeatists...

Yup, always got a chance. Let’s just hope the players don’t think the same way as some on here, got to believe. Hopefully we are all reading about a Pats crisis tomorrow.

Really all I want to see in this game is that the Colts play the Pats hard and smart.  They have a punchers chance of winning, though highly unlikely as it may be.

I specifically will be looking for signs of good game preparation by the coaching staff and, as my favorite super hero would say, Maximum Effort.

Honestly, I just want to see Tom Turkey get sacked 5 or 6 times and someone to finally light up Gronk over the middle.

Nothing better than watching him slamming his helmet down on the sideline and losing it. We try and keep this tight and be smart with the clock, we can sneak this, even with all these injuries. Hoping that Pascal can light it up.

ha :D  Just need to decide whether to stay up now to watch it or watch first thing in the morning.  Have all notifications blocked from colts.com/NFL etc so easy to avoid hearing the score until I watch.

I’m finishing work early to watch, hopefully to watch a tremendous win, live in hope.

Thought rusty smith was supposed to be our best offseason pick up. We have 7-8 starters that could miss the pats game. Unfreaking believable. So sick of this team being hurt all the time

Fresh? We’re gonna be missing 6-8 starters

I was obviously talking about the starters

thanks guys for the feedback, tbh I wasn't sure, being lazy and should have read up on this but I assumed if sky had the game in UK, then it would not be on the game pass.  Felt like that's what happened before whenever Colts have been on the Sky sunday game, which has not been for two seasons.

Delighted to be proved wrong though in this case!

You had me seriously panicking :D

Believe this is a black out game on my NFL game pass here in UK and that may not be a bad thing!

However Friday morning UK time with blackout restriction removed, I will still march downstairs with hope in my heart, pour myself a large coffee, fire up my game pass, then methodically watch Colts get destroyed 41-24.

On a positive note if we were closer to full strength I think we would run them very close.

Just too many injuries going into this game. FACT

Just checked and don’t know where you’re seeing that it’s not showing on GamePass bud?

Never known a late ko to be blacked out on Game Pass. Normally just the Sunday afternoon slots.

Never known this to be the case either, can’t be right. Off to check, they’ll be getting an email fired off to them if it is the case.

    It's a "hatred", not a rivalry.

And as long as Kraft is the owner he will want to beat the * out of us everytime.

That covers every team then. Is there anyone that doesn’t hate them? There is no reason we can’t sneak a win against them this week, they aren’t that good. Still feel like it’s a bigger game when it comes round, even now. Love to get one over them.

I will say this though... I liked Pascal a lot. I thought he filled in well for Hilton and made several big plays and got open.

Agree, hope he sees a few targets against the Pats and can kick on.

I like the fact he shoots his mouth off, adds a little more excitement to it all, but he does come out with some absolute nonsense sometimes. Just let the attention seeker have his little moments and that way we can ram them straight back down his throat when we play them.
