So do we all know who is winning this year and why?… surely we all want to make some easy money.
-
Thanks for all the updates guys, keep them coming. So jealous that you’re able to go along and watch them train, maybe one day. Starting to get really confident about what we could achieve this season.

May have spoken too soon. Ravens just traded up to 32. Does Lamar Jackson go here?
We aren’t even getting a shot at Guice now, even if we wanted to.
Just now, SteelCityColt said:Surely this is for Jackson?
Would think so
-
Didn’t think they’d take a QB there, they know Rudolph will still fall to them.

Jackson doesn’t seem like a NE type QB.
Same, just don’t see it

That pick, would’ve taken Guice before Penny, heck I’d have taken Chubb before him too.
-
Cleveland are going to get Guice falling to them, just ahead of us.

I think as me and @csmopar said they have issues on both sides of the trenches and while Barkley is a home run threat consistent success comes from strong lines. Throw in having a QB that’s near expired and it’s a luxury unless you plan on picking top 5 next year. Even then you could argue the QB class for 2019 is weaker.
He automatically helps take some pressure off Eli, so they can wait a little longer for a QB imo. Going to open the field more for their talented WR’s and also help out their defense by having their offense on the field longer.

I think taking Barkley, despite the obvious talent, was a luxury pick by the Giants. If you’re not taking a QB surely you’d trade?
I liked their pick, improves their whole team from day one,

Possible of course, who knows the full workings.
That was my point mate, some folk are acting like they know exactly what panned out though.

If TB got that, it is pretty safe to assume we could have gotten at least that ... they knew the Colts pick was likely in play I would bet they called Colts before TB.
2 minutes ago, SteelCityColt said:You know that the proof isn’t available, certainly not right now.
Ballard said he turned down an offer, given the Bills went after the next pick, it’s really not illogical to make an assumption we might have received a similar offer.
Could they not have played us off against TB and we wanted more.

Please provide proof that Buffalo offered that... you can't give up something you don't have. It's completely illogical
I’d like to know exactly who on this thread was in the room when the call came through...hmmmm???

It’s 2.20am here, cheers for giving me a right good lol
1 minute ago, oldunclemark said:Why don't scouting reports say that 4 other guys are just as good as Nelson ?
Exactly
1 minute ago, 2006Coltsbestever said:You are underrating Nelson, if we created a Poll you would be in the minority regarding not liking this pick. I have only seen maybe 4 or 5 others that don't like it. I have read where at least 20 people love it as of now in here and understand it. It was a much needed pick, have to start protecting Luck otherwise we wont be any good. He is much better than any other Guard in the Draft as well.
You need to start one bud...oh and I agree. We cannot afford to have Luck go down again. The guy can only take so much...and then what?

Woah, never saw that.

Cardinals have done well to get Rosen IMO
Definitely, certainly didn’t see them getting him before it kicked off

I don't know about you but I love the pick. Lets build a wall around Andrew. He and Kelly should work well together. Ballard has 3 picks in Round 2 so I bet he goes Defensive heavy there.
Pretty much where I’m at.

I'm in the philosophy no guard is worth a top 10 pick, every guard drafted top 10 in the draft for the past 20 years have been a bust
Entitled to your opinion like everyone else bud, but that doesn’t mean he will be

You know the phone was ringing and we likely turned down a good offer to pick a guard ....
