Why should he? His personal stuff is personal.
Thats funny. He looks like he's hiding something by being so secretive, and the moment something goes wrong, the heat will come down on him.

I don't get it. Docs seem to say that u reinjure the labrum if u dont do the biceps surgery. Then he refused to say what Doc or physical therapist he saw? I don't get Luck

Yes the potential timing between the two procedures is troubling. You would think that someone performing shoulder surgeries at that level would know that the other surgery should be performed at the same time. Unless they didn't realize the extent of Luck's problem at the time. Which begs the question...why did the Colts allow Luck to go to a hip specialist for shoulder surgery? lol
If nothing else, Lucks yr end presser should be interesting.

Hopefully he is able to throw without pain when he tests his shoulder out in January or so. Then maybe he and the team can move forward and continue the rebuild around him. Even in that scenario though, I still have an uneasiness that something could reoccur later down the road that requires the surgery anyway.
In my opinion, if he has to go under the knife again for the bicep surgery then I fear his days in Indy might be numbered. That would be too much fiddling around with the man's shoulder/arm and potentially two seasons wasted. It's hard to imagine that scenario resulting in a happy ending for Colts fans.
Brees had both. The issue I have with Luck is he should have done this surgery months ago. It appears he's at a high risk to re-tear his labrum by not getting it.
Has James Andrews retired from performing surgeries?

I like Mort. DD not so much. Get tired of his combative attitude.
I hope Mort is able to overcome his illness.... he sure has a good attitude about it, but didn't seem to want to discuss much about it.
Some of the things he was saying about the procedure make sense. And he seems relatively knowledgeable about it.
Why would you hire a potato farmer to grow grapes for your winery? Just saying.
Perhaps having a surgeon more known for his work in hip repair wasn't the best choice to handle rebuilding the throwing shoulder of a NFL QB.
I am really confused why they wouldn't have done the tendon procedure during the surgery if it is "common practice". Too much unknown and I think it IS fair to point fingers at AL. At least until he visits the podium and gives us some info...
He said he used a good doctor, but that he's a hip specialist. James Andrews he is not

Said he should've had the biceps procedure when he had the shoulder surgery. And said he went to a hip specialist instead of a shoulder specialist. Good stuff from Mort

So it appears the blaming of Luck has begun.
And as I posted prior, the Doc said he ahould have got the biceps surgey immediately. Not doing so could cause another labrum tear.

Actually on another Thread this type of surgery was mentioned as it is to the bicep. Some players have had this after shoulder surgery, it is nothing new. If he has it in January, he has plenty of time to recover from this before next season starts. I am not worried about it. He needs to have it if he still feels pain when throwing.
That was my thread with the doc talk8ng about whats wrong. The doctor seemed to duggest Luck would need the surgery regardless.
-
I posted he needed this wks ago. He should have done it already. LOL. This is the most mismanaged injury ever. I'm beginning to wonder if this is Lucks way to force Indy to draft a qb so he can leave.
-
Luck has handled this just as bad as the team imo. And now he's nowhere to be found.
I know it's a different injury, but Aaron Rodgers' surgeon deserves a lil attention. Amazing.

The Cowboys had the best oline before they drafted a rb.

That Mike Francesa is hard to listen to. It sounds like he has a bunch of spit in his mouth and needs to swallow or cottonmouth or something.
I find it odd that this doctor knows exactly what's wrong, but none of the doctors that are seeing Luck don't know?
It's called practicing medicine for a reason. A lot of them are just guessing, as is this guy. I'm sure Luck has heard this, but maybe he's trying to avoid another surgery. Or not get the surger where they drill into a bone. Sounds like this guy has different techniques. I hate that a guy in New York has better Luck coverage than guys in Indy.

I want David Shaw if any coaching changes are to be made.
Ummm, I'd take anyone over Pagano, bit Shaw is so conservative. I'm not a fan at all. He cost Luck a win in his last gm because he played for a fg. I'd take him over Pagano, but I hate his offense.

Once it was clear he was going to miss 6wks, I have no clue why he was encouraged to throw.
-
If this surgery is really 9-12 months recovery, then why on earth did they ever say he was going to play this season? Seems like he shouldnt even start throwing till December or January. And just hopefully be ready for next season.
-
I want Luck to have to answer some questions. What happened to the light at the end of the tunnel?
-
I doubt you'll ever find a player that says anything bad about Pagano. I remember Khaled Holmes was defending him after getting cut. Everyone love and respect the guy. Hopefully Ballard sees thru all this a fires him anyway.

How would he push them out behind the scenes?
Tell Irsay to fire them. Or have his agent do it. If Peyton wanted Mora to stay, he would have stayed. I think he wanted him gone, as he should have. QB is the only position with leverage in the nfl.

He could have saw that Sam Darnold is no Andrew Luck from his couch at home.

Oh, Dear God....
We don't know because we're not entitled to know. No one is required to give out such information. And if someone gave you a name today, what would you do with it?
What would it tell you?
You think the surgery was botched? How would you prove it? Luck found a specialist and had the operation. It's his personal business.
Sorry... there's no THERE there.
Now if we wake up someday to learn that Luck is suing the doctor THEN you have a story. But not until then. That's how this works.
When a high profile athlete has surgery, the doctor is usually named. The guy I posted thought it was fishy as well.

And the media storm. Mort was very critical of the way Andrew has handled this.
