That most likely would've crushed any hopes for a playoff run

I haven't re-watched to verify, but didn't he fail to pick up the lb on the sack?
I think that sack was nullified by a penalty

Who do we want to win? I like the Titans more, but they are in the running for that 6th seed. The Texans losing gives us a much better chance at a division title.

Jags are imploding but since it's on the road, it has potential to be a tough one. Hopefully Mack is cleared from concussion protocol by next week otherwise Hines will have to step up. I don't have faith in wilkins after that fumble.
How much has Wilkins fumbled? I know he had another against the Pats (he also gets limited carries)

Collin Telesz is one of the best colts channels on youtube.

I don't buy the hype on Quinnen Williams but I like Gary, Jones, and Ferrell. Would be fine taking anyone who could pair up with Leonard and eat up blocks for him.
-
Team him up with his former teammate Deon Cain? Luck hasn't had a possession WR ever and he could a Cole Beasley type.
-
If I'm not mistaken 4 of those sacks were in the first half of the texans game. Last year the jags had 10 sacks against us in one game!
-
He's gotten so much better from last year. He can actually run through the tackles now instead of trying to bounce it outside for a big play all the time.

He was elite in 2014 and is back to being elite now. Crazy how people don't even put him in their top 10. Let um sleep

We need another WR, better pass rushers, another LB, and corners. Depth everywhere too.

Quinnen Williams is an interesting one. He's been shooting up mock draft boards.
Can't say I've watched him yet , but PFF absolutely loves the guy.
Hard to project DL from bama because they're so stacked up front.

Safeties > Corners. Also RT just as important or more than LT (all the good dudes line up on that side).
-
Do we go for a star RB or WR?
-
I think that if we get healthy we could at least have a chance at the division. Luck owns the titans and T.Y. owns the texans.
-
If we pick top 5 I want Oliver or Bosa but if they're gone trade down. This draft is absolutely loaded at DL we could get Rashan Gary, Raekwon Davis, Jeffrey Simmons and way more. Wouldn't be against drafting a CB like Greedy Williams or Deandre Baker either. Then grab a WR from Ole Miss or Texas.

I think there are plenty off-field/character issues and health problems we might not know about.
-
I would say Nelson and maybe even Hooker could be pro-bowl caliber players.

This edge and d-line class is LOADED

6: quenton nelson, g, nd
analysis: top 3 player in this class easy, generational talent, looks like future perennial all-pro. Protect 12 and open up holes in the running game
grade: A
36: darius leonard, lb, scsu
analysis: looks like a poor mans roquan smith. helps fix up the lb corp and can actually cover which our current lbs lack.
grade: B
37: braden smith, g, auburn
analysis: very strong and pretty athletic. all-around solid pick, building the wall in front of luck.
grade: B+
52: kemoko turay, edge, rutgers
analysis: athletic edge who has plenty of upside. best bend with landry and has some explosiveness and twitch.
grade: B+
64: tyquan lewis, edge, osu
analysis: versatile, high motor rusher who wins with power but is also pretty fast.
grade: B-
104: nyheim hines, rb, ncsu
analysis: building the three headed monster we saw in philly. very fast with potential to be our darren sproles. upside as a receiver out of the backfield and as a returner.
grade: C+
159: daurice fountain, wr, northern iowa
analysis: very good character and leader. good size and speed, wr depth.
grade: A-
169: jordan wilkins, rb, ole miss
analysis: massive looking rb with good vision and agility. him and hines could form a good backfield with mack.
grade: B-
185: deon cain, wr, clemson
analysis: deep threat who has massive upside as yac guy. good value, 2nd-3rd round grade.
grade: A
221: matthew adams, lb, houston
analysis: big, strong thumper. lb depth.
grade: C
235: zaire franklin, lb, syracuse
analysis: freak athlete. bench: 30 reps, 38' vert, 4.5 40, 4.16 shuttle, and 6.85 3 cone. lb depth with upside.
grade: B
summary: i know there aren't much big names, but i actually like this draft. we beefed up our fronts and added some new weapons for luck. ballard did exactly what he said, he improved our lines and added lbs. all these guys have great character and hopefully this is the draft that changes our fortunes for the next decade.

I liked the emphasis on building up front. Like the picks of Turay and Smith.

ton of potential, but inconsistent

As long as it works out I don't think it matters. Still Edmunds and Penny were thought of as day 2 guys.
Norwell out for Colts game and beyond

He wasn't that great anyway, but hopefully Margus Hunt can FEAST (or whoever he would've gone up against)
