Anyone not get the memo that the individual awards were already voted on? Plus Mahomes got 45 out of 50 all pro votes but none of that matters in this game.

Let's play aggressive and loose because we haven't had anything to lose since preseason !

Always differ. With a high scoring game you would definitely want more possessions.

Interesting read about how the ravens exposed the chiefs weaknesses.
1. Run the ball down their throats
We should be able to do this considering we went for 200 yds against the best run D in league and the chiefs are near the bottom. This keeps Kermit and the muppets off the field.
2. Put pressure on Kermit
This will be much harder to do considering we don't have the talent up front of Baltimore so we might need to blitz on crucial situations.
Something I might add: STOP TRAVIS KELCE ! We've been terrible against TEs all season and he is the best in the biz.

KC has no answer on defense period
-
I dont think so but Ballard helped build BOTH rosters ;)
-
Even when they did run it we shut it down besides Watsons scrambles.
-
We all saw what "big game" Watson did in his playoff debut
-
As much as I wish we could win this game with defense and running the ball that just isn't possible. They have 4 all pros on offense and either team will need at least 30 points to win.

The RB coach and revamped oline has done wonders for him. He can now pass protect and run well between the tackles.

What about Colin Cowherd?

Hilton, Inman, Pascal, Cain, Fountain, and a day 2 pick would be a viable WR core. Hopefully we can get a big bodied WR or a burner in the draft.

Hooker left the game too. The Colts could be thin at safety next week.
Hooker returned but Mitchell was out for the game. Looked pretty bad from what I saw.

We got a really lenient crew today. I heard they threw the least amount of flags all year thats what I call playoff football!

Now all we need is a fast corner because we have our big physical CBs in Desir and Wilson with Kenny Moore as nickel.
-
Hard pass. He's injury prone and really small. Also did you see Mack break him hard today lol.

Mike Mitchell was a pretty dirty player in Pittsburgh but Ballard still picked him up.

I noticed he didn't play with his usual manic mentality. Maybe inexperience or because he was a texans fan.

1. Establish the run
Last time we played the Texans we couldn't get anything going. Hopefully Kelly and Mack can improve that. This will open up TY over the top (PA max protect)
2. Take away their playmakers
The Texans heavily rely on their playmakers. Watson, Hopkins, and Miller on offense. Clowney and Watt on defense. Double team Nuk and Watt. Contain Watson. Someone to watch for is Keke Coutee who absolutely killed us in the first game.
3. Blitz
We have experienced a lot of success when blitzing Watson and we should continue to do that.
4. Our weapons
Get TY going or use him as a decoy. Ebron and Hines have favorable matchups against their LBs and take advantage of that.
5. The usuals
Limit penalties, win turnover battle, 3rd down, red zone, etc.
The Texans are a good team but they are flawed and we have already shown we can beat them. I predict a shootout in which we win by one score.

I really hope Kelly plays. We need a run game against the Texans which we didn't have in the other two games.

Seriously? Other than one run, the colts had Henry bottled up last night.
If you watched the game you could see Henry was breaking tackles and would've killed us with a competent passing game.

What about Steve Wilks or Vance Joseph?

I would really like Butler to go with TY. I think our scheme doesn't really rely on our corners as much as our safeties. We could really use Landon Collins after passing on him for Dorsett. Pass rush is an obvious need, both inside and out. We could also use a RT who could kick Smith inside and maybe take over for at LT. Overall this team is good but we need playmakers on both sides of the ball.
