What about Harold Goodwin, former Arizona OC? He might be interesting.

Greg Roman, Ravens- was OC for 49ers during their successful years

Joe Lombardi, Saints QB coach who used to be Detroit's OC for a couple of years a while back. That's a great O they have in NO

IDK, just have to wait and see... just want someone who will help us run the ball effectively and protect Luck so he can do his work

On Lombardi, the Lions were better after he was fired. Stafford focused more on the short passing game once they got rid of Lombardi and went with Cooter. I don’t think Lombardi would be a good hire. The saints O is the product of Sean Payton. Lombardi got his shot in Detroit with pretty good weapons and flopped.

well of course he didn't have to do tough yards his juke ability was enough to help him excel to the next level

If he’s only good in space, which is what he has shown on tape, then he’s just a duplication of Mack’s skill set and there’s no reason to waste a pick on him at 3. Basically if we are drafting Barkley at 3, we are counting on him to be a similar player to Ezekiel Elliott . His vision and his lack of toughness running inside has not shown he’s that player.

He basically plays like a suped up Christian Mccafrey. He’s a safe pick because he is a mismatch in the passing game.

  3. I prefer Harold Landry to Chubb. Landry is more athletic, has a relentless motor, but is not as polished with his hands. I think his value will jump up once the combine hits while chubbs value will fall.

Barkley is great in space, but does not show the inside toughness of the rbs he’s compared to (Elliott, bell, etc. ). He does not grind the tough yards imo.

  4. Defilippo is interviewing for the Vikings oc job not the lions. Jim Bob Cooter is staying as OC in Detroit.

I am am wondering why we aren’t interviewing jim bob cooter as head coach . He seems more qualified than Reich and Campbell to me. Stafford actually improved with Cooter as Calvin johnson retired .

  5. Arob is basically a better, younger version of Dez at this stage who cares more about route running. He is the best option by far IMO.

Paul Richardson would be a sneaky good pickup. I also believe Chester Rogers will be solid in the slot in McDaniels offense.

I like Moncriefs potential but I question his toughness. He has all the tools but you never see him go beast mode on corners where he just dominates them. It seems to be a mentality issue with him more than anything.

I would not add Watkins or Dez. I think injuries have impacted both of them and they are declining. Watkins was horrible this year on an excellent Rams offense.

Pryor has the raw talent but is still learning how to play the position. Also his hands were very shaky when going over the middle in Washington. He was a huge bust for Washington.

  6. Kid is going to be very good if he continues to improve. He’s dynamic in space. He needs to work on his pass pro, vision, and hands, but if he ever becomes good in one of those aspects he becomes a really good player.

Tevin Coleman in Atlanta struggled catching the ball his first year in the league, but in his second year, his hands improved tremendously and he became a huge weapon for Atlanta both in the passing game and in the running game and is a big reason they made the super bowl a year ago. I could easily see Mack making a similar jump.

If he ever puts all together, he could be like a Jamal Charles type back imo.

  7. I’d consider Jim Bob Cooter (OC for the lions). He has been a huge factor in Stafford’s improved play the past few years. Prior to Cooter being promoted, Stafford was playing so poorly Caldwell actually benched him. Cooter came in and emphasized a short , quick passing game with occasional shots and it has worked wonders for the Lions offense. I am not a huge fan of Golden Tate (good yak ability but not a number 1 wr) or Marvin Jones so it is impressive to me.

  8. There is zero reason the ball should be consistently going to Jack Doyle or Kamar Aiken. In fact it makes zero sense that we have Chester Rogers and kamar aiken in one wide sets as our best deep threats off play action in power sets are pretty clearly Hilton and moncrief. Furthermore, we ran very well early and completely abandoned it to force our backup qb to play hero like he’s Andrew Luck. We seem to be unable to find ways to get our playmakers the ball. Where is Hilton and Mack?

  9. Moncrief has to be more involved in the game plan. TY and Moncrief are the only playmakers on this offense. Doyle can help move the chains, but Aiken is worthless and Gore is still solid, but he is no big play threat either. We have Aiken playing over moncrief in two wide sets, which makes no sense because Aiken has shown nothing in his time here.

  10. The steelers start brown, Martavis, and Eli rogers. Brown and eli are both small WRs. It is on the coaching staff to adapt their scheme to put the players in the best position to succeed - That's coaching. Like most young players, Dorsett has made mistakes, but this coaching staff is foolish if they don't find ways to get a guy with Dorsett's speed involved in the offense. A similar player in John Ross just went top 10 in this year's draft.
