  1. him and buck played together, so before we resigned grove I thought it was a possibility. but then when we resigned grove those chances went down. we easily could've done armstead instead of grove, and still signed davis from Miami with a good outlook on that
  2. if you abbreviated your name like mine it would be CC and everytime I read it I would think of chucky cheese. just wanted to let you know my thoughts on that one.
  3. ballard is the definition of insanity, doing the same thing over and over expecting a diff result. he also should cut his hair. Joe Flacco will only hold clipboards, Sam is the best QB on roster.
  4. Diggs would be a good 1-2 year bridge safety, but i'd rather have Blackmon tbh
  5. I agree, nothing leaked about McKenzie or Tony Brown so must be a tight ship.
  6. I enjoyed that. thanks. McAfee prob my all-time fav colt.. well after TY I guess.
  7. if ballard signed someone we expected or wanted, we'd have to make sure it's really him and not some clone pretending to be him!
  8. McKenzie's inability to shut his mouth is probably what got him in trouble to begin with. remember the Colts Cam all the players said he talked a lot, still is apparently. him and tony Brown
  9. right so you want DE instead of DT, but we already invested in Paye, and Dayo. Also Ebukam. We don't have a top-tier pass rusher, but outside of hunter there really wasn't an option. ballard is doing what he always has done, draft, pay his own guys, and bargain dive during FA. Hooker wasn't my pick, but at the end of the day since the hooker pick, he's been doing the same thing. our first-rounders have all gone to fill a need, not necessarily BPA. and yes, im willing to go pick by pick, year by year to argue it. hooker, paye, buck, wentz all 1st round picks to FILL a spot. and guess what, he's about to do the same thing. I bet we take DE, WR, or CB all early depending on if we get snead or not will dictate CB vs WR we also had a decent amount of sacks, rather people wanna find some convoluted way of discounting it or not
  10. I'm a little surprised on the pushback for the backup DT signing. are we upset about the player/deal or are we more upset about his overall strategy. roster wise, we desperately needed a DT that could play relief pitcher to Buck and Grove. that was clear to see. so i'm leaning towards people being more upset with the overall same strat vs. the signing of the player in particular.
  11. Good post, and I agree with most of it. But in short, you're basically saying Ballard is doing Ballard things. He has built and maintained the roster with this strategy since he took over and drafted Hooker. my argument is it's only gotten us .500 and we haven't won the division in a decade. so yeah, i guess with less words im saying the same thing, im ready for him to make a push too. do something different.
  12. So far, Ballard has remained as his true self throughout the beginning of this free agency period. So with that being said, we probably see the routine Ballard in the draft too. I am not saying it's necessarily bad, but I wouldn't say we've necessarily gotten any better. I like the backup DT, i wason here complaining about DT depth before Grover's suspension last season and got laughed out. Go back and watch us last year, our run defense looked big bad
  13. we are known for paying and keeping our own players under Ballard, outside of a few. Looks like this offseason is no different.
