  1. 2023 — Houston Texans 2022 — Jacksonville Jaguars 2021 — Tennessee Titans 2020 — Tennessee Titans 2019 — Houston Texans 2018 — Houston Texans 2017 — Jacksonville Jaguars 2016 — Houston Texans 2015 — Houston Texans 2014 — Indianapolis Colts but yeah, the Ballard approach is fine.
  2. You love stats, don't you? We are the 2nd most injured team in the league under Ballard's tenure The Titans, Texans, and Jags have all accomplished more than us under Ballard's tenure. so let's not talk about every team, let's just talk about our division. can we get a division dub before we talk about SuperBowl? you hyperbolize me, but the reality is still the same.
  3. they typically don't do it midgame though. when Thomas was single high, he was single high. They might interchange them from game to game, but that's not any team's goal. You want the FS to be a ballhawk, and you want a solid tackling SS that can cover backs and TEs, in this system that's the goal. its been laid out and stated clearly. So again, we don't have the FS, and unless Cross pans out we also need a SS, and if you move Cross to FS we need the SS
  4. @Solid84 2021, 2nd Round Dayo Odeyingbo - rotaional piece. he is my favorite on breaking out
  5. "What you call negative and deeply cynical I call realistic. " - @Solid84 There appears to be a theme on this board where if you have what appears to be a negative, or unpopular opinion you are therefore a cynic, or pessimist, and only need to be enlightened to see the truth. I think its garbage, call it what it is. BBB doing BBB things. No one calls me an optimist when I praise him for a late round steal, but let me complain about anything, and there's a riot.
  6. They always have a solid roster, then they get aggressive to get elite at spots. we just have a solid roster, and get mediocre at certain spots. it;s really been the same for years
  7. them singing Bryan before Blackmon makes me think he isn't coming back, but I too would've liked Blackmon to resign, especially if we arent signing a S in FA
  8. they are better at than us at almost every single position. and it might not always work, but what works all the time? they've accomplished much more than we have in the last 7 years with ballard
  9. i mean like Rock for example. a guy who leaves and signs elsewhere, ballard doesn't usually bring them back after that the eagles probably have the best FO in the league, and ballard could learn something from them
  10. Do you know what Ballard supports LOVE to say? be patient, its a process, lets see what he does in the draft.. lets see what...
  11. what has it gotten us so far OFM? less than .500 and no division titles, with nothing but highest-paid at position players who have won absolutely nothing. our biggest achievement is beating the chiefs in the years they win the SB sad
  12. i doubht chloe is physically vomitting, but i'm sure there are more than a few fans who are displeased with ballards routine.
  13. im with chloe on this one, with the way this FA has shaped up, if we take a TE rd 1 I would be incredibly surprised.
  14. nothing new here, he usually uses his 1st round picks to fill whatever spot he couldn't or didn't in FA
  15. If people's posts weren't deleted, moved, or merged with other threads, anti-Ballard posts would dominate this forum. I know that because on every other less moderated forum, the majority of fans are complaining about Ballard, whilst here on this forum its relegated to a single thread in which we separate fan opinions. That's why most people don't even bother complaining about Ballard on this forum anymore.
  16. but but but he drafted paye and dayo! why ? because we literally didn't have a pass rush and he had no choice but to go back to back DE
  17. @NewColtsFan despite us disagreeing on almost every single topic, you are still one of my favorite posters on the board.
  18. I would like to add that the Baltimore Ravens do not possess Baltimore Colts history. The ravens are the ravens, the team that existed before them moved... remember? They moved like our ancestors on the Mayflower!
  19. I too, include Baltimore as part of that history. Which I just thought most fans did actually.
  20. HOU being one of our biggest cities in this scenario is coincidental. having a franchise QB, and winning, play a big role. That's why you responded to my comment about HOU and not KC because you know it doesn't hold up when you go team by team. It's 2024 players do not care how many likes your YouTube channel gets. They care about getting paid first and playing with a team that can make their value go up as a player. that's it, it's really that simple. of course, there can be other factors such as being close to home and wanting to be in a tax-free state. but there are enough other small team markets that disprove this narrative with their signings. KC probably being the best example. When you win, when you have a franchise guy, players gravitate towards that, regardless of how many people buy hats or jerseys.
  21. I mean.. sure? but are we gonna pretend that Indy is a new team? it's not... the Texans are new right? and players seem to love signing there, maybe its Stroud? maybe its the market? people will come up with any reason to say people don't like Indiana. But do they like Kansas? why? maybe because they win. edit: colts were founded in 1953, GB 1919 --> I'm just imagining free agents looking at a list of what team was founded first to pick one. I guess the Ravens and Jags attract players because they don't have a history. Or maybe its because they win --> Ravens or pay ---> Jags
