Don't we also need another TE as well?? Totally forgot about that.
Could use one, but would be more of a luxury pick. Wouldn't even consider using a pick on a TE till like the 5th earliest.

I think we will appreciate this pick more as time goes on. I heard so many "experts" target Taylor Decker or Conklin for the Colts and I shake my head. If Goode and Thompson/Reich pan out, Kelly could be the missing piece.
Now we need a ILB or OLB.
who?

I'd take Tunsil and not look back. But I doubt we take him. Grigson will make a safe pick. No question mark guys.

Reminds me a bit of tyrann mathieu tbh

Ragland isn't my first option, but definitely wouldn't be upset if he was our pick. Potential to be a leader of a defense for the next 10 years. The coverage problems seem to be a bit blown out of proportion on this board. Almost everything I've read from scouts say he's passable in coverage. The way some people talk about how poor his coverage is you'd think he was a NT trying to cover a receiver.
Not my first pick, but if the other options are gone, do not reach just for a position of need.

See my post just above about Joseph's ranks...
He's not ranked so low. He's actually ranked very high. Not sure where the low is coming from?
But people who judge talent for a living really like him......
Guess I've just been looking in the wrong places. Most I've seen him have him going in the 3rd round. Some even fourth.
-
Chose A. But A and D are a real toss up for me.
-
Big fan of Karl Joseph. Still don't know why he's ranked so low except for maybe size. If he goes any later then early 3rd he'll be the steal of the draft.
-
I'd definitely be satisfied with this draft, really like Fackrell in the 3rd or 4th.

Given his size, I really think indy drafted Smith to come in and challenge Butler for slot. The Colts seem to like tall, physical corners on the outside.
The fact that they haven't signed a cb2 makes me think we go that way round 1. I think they have someone in mind that they like.
Which CB prospect rated in our range would you say has size though? Alexander is 5'10, Apple doesn't exactly have size.

Wouldn't hate the pick like many others on here. MLB's are the leaders of a defense. He has the leadership and if they believe he has the talent, I see nothing wrong with making this pick with the current state of our defense.

I've done my fair share of Mocks so instead I'll do a "What the Colts will probably do" mock instead of what I want them to do:
1. Reggie Ragland, ILB
2. Nick Martin, C
3. Karl Joseph, FS
4. Kyler Fackrell, OLB
5. Joe Dahl, OT/OG
7. Henry Krieger-Coble, TE
Not my favorite, but I'd be okay with that draft.

Kenneth Dixon.
Or Tyler Irvin late or as a UDFA.
-
Not a huge deal, because I like Geathers. But for what Lowery signed for, I would have just assumed we would have kept him around for that price.
-
Billings, Alexander, or Ogbah.

You should watch some of Ervin's tape if you haven't already. The first comparison that jumped to mind was Darren Sproles. He would be a great late round pick.
After he stood out at the combine, I looked up some tape and was still very impressed. Think he could be a steal.
-
Ogbah and Lawson obviously had very good days. Billings as well. Really liked what I saw from Tyler Ervin from the RB group. Could be a nice late round grab, or even an UDFA.

4.62 on Ogbah's second attempt. He's athletic as heck, I'm just not sure he has the bend to be able to stand up full time in a 3-4.
Will be the key. Depends on how management views him as an 3-4 olb. Could be a risky pick if they think he can make that transition.
-
Kenneth Dixen looked great in all the on field drills.
The surprising standout to me was Tyler Ervin. Posted a solid 40 time, and looked really smooth and fluid in all the on field drills. Could be a nice late round pick up.
-
I like Cyrus Jones late. He's undersized for sure, but he flat out balls.
-
really like those first 3 picks in the draft
-
give me that Jets draft please lol.

The more I watch the more I'm seeing bust. He seems to be a product of that o-line, I don't think he's physical enough for the nfl he's got good vision and patience and when he's got room he can go I just don't think he will have alot of success in the nfl
Feeling the same. Don't think he'll be a complete bust, just don't think he'll be anything more than average.

Like him as a player. Don't know if I'd go CB in the 1st though. I guess it would depend whos still on the board.
