  1. I come to this board and see no love for Phillip Walker? Ok I guess it's up to me. Could we keep Phillip Walker just so he cold teach our other QBs his quicker release and how to be more decisive? I love watching that guy play. And yea I know he has measurable downsides.

    definite or probable?

definite: clearly stated or decided; not vague or doubtful

probable: likely to be the case or to happen

I mean, listen, we're talking about preseason, not a game, not a game, not a game, we talking about preseason. Not a game.

You forgot the "supposed to be a franchise player part" part of that riff.

NO!!! he took a new and continued too... I stand for my Flag and take a knee for the Cross...in that order

Have you ever heard Eric Reid speak and explain his actions and what he was trying to communicate? Is the religiosity  you express here relevant to signing him or his actions or is the stand for the flag take a knee for the cross just something you're parroting back after reading it in one of the many places that idea has already been expressed?

58 for me. Loved Unitas and Bert Jones and Mike Curtis. Wow, couldn't we use a Curtis now? I remember when Matte stepped in at QB and played the hated Packers even. Luck beating the Packers in the Chuck Strong game. Great players...great memories. Let's make some new ones in 2017.

Stan White breaking Broadway Joe's collarbone....one of my favorite memories....

  5. Or he could be John Elway, or he could be Roger Staubach, or he could be Bert Jones, or he could Roman Gabriel, or Fran Tarkenton, or Sonny Jurgensen, in other words he is an extremely good player who does his job well enough to be a part of a championship team or not but it is the team around him that is in question and will determine his ultimate success, not Andrew. It's enough to know for now, that Andrew is not Trent Dilfer, nor is he Bart Starr, or Doug Williams, nor is he Jeff George, or Art Schlichter, or Mike Pagel.

  6. Grew up in the Bay area just south of S.F. and in 1966 my dad took me to a 49ers game   (in the 60's the Colts were in the costal division with SF and LA) and by chance they were playing the Unitas led Baltimore Colts...I've ben a die hard Colts fan since then. More then anything else it was the uniforms that first game that caught my eye but as I became a fan of the game it became the players and their stories than kept me a Colts fan. Back in the days of the costal division the Colts once beat the 49ers 13 straight times.
