Well, if we keep losing we have a better chance of getting Harrison Jr, which is really the only thing I care about right now. That will provide some excitement we won't see for the rest of this year.

We need to not have designed run plays for Richardson. Have him run as a last resort, otherwise he’s not going to survive one season.

I feel like Stroud will always be a much better passer, but AR has the mobility wild card. I honestly think Stroud will put up better numbers, but we weren't going to be able to draft him anyway. AR still looks like he has potential to be great as well, so that's fine. One advantage of AR not being as good is less salary cap hit once he gets his first big contract. That sounds dumb, but it opens the door to keeping our other big players. You can win with a top 10 QB, they don't have to be the absolute best.

Honestly I feel like if we are up by 61 at the half we could still find a way to make a game close

I have mixed emotions about this...
I'm not at all surprised, its a very Eagles thing to do.

They won't get close to Harrison unless somebody gives us 2#1s for JT
I'd overpay to get Harrison, just because it ensures I'll be excited about football for the next decade regardless of what happens to the rest of the team 😂

That escape from the sack was incredible. THAT is something only an elite physical QB can do.

Overall impressed with Richardson tonight, but his accuracy does need work. I think we all knew that though, so not really a knock on him. He'll have all year to learn and improve - hopefully when we win the Harrison Jr lottery we can really turn up the heat.

I mean the Eagles are a really good team, but honestly at this point I’d take their third string over our first.
on another note: I feel like every time we get a first down there’s a drive-destroying penalty. Or basically any chunk play at all.

Good analysis on the WRs.
As for Risner, I had the same questions. But if you check him out, he was a disappointment for Denver. Average G, at best (LG). His greatest asset was his durability, which is important. But is he better than Fries? Maybe not.
Hambright looks like he’s doing well. Pinter is okay as a backup C. Blake is getting a lot of snaps at RT and may be okay. Admittedly, it falls off fast. But how many teams have real depth on the Oline?
Personally, I don’t think it’s as bad as some do.
I’ll take an average G right now over… whatever last year was.

No he won't. He is a backup QB.
He signed here for backup QB money and he is now playing that role.
I think he'll do like @Restinpeacesweetchloe mentioned above and fill a Brissett role. Maybe not be a long term starter, but a stopgap.

Minshew is awesome teammate! I wouldn't mind him being our backup for the foreseeable future. If he would want that job.
I've always been a huge Minshew fan. I'd love him to be our backup forever, but i get the feeling he'll start somewhere again someday.

I find it so funny how everyone is going out of their way to elevate this guy and his play. Venturi raps up game by saying how impressed he was wtih Richadson. ha What a joke. You mean the guy who threw a terrible interception and threw a number of balls either too high or off target? Sorry, just because we spend the number 4 pick on a QB and HOPE he becomes good doesn't make him good. He is and will always be what she showed in college. Which is he has great athletic skills. But he makes bad decisions, has terrible ball placement, and is inaccurate.
I have never, ever seen a running QB who played one year of college football, have a losing record, barely completely over 50% of his passes, get into the pros and become a good passing QB. No Josh Allen didn't play one year of college football. Sorry. I have been a Colts fan since they were in Baltimore. I love the Colts. But I am not going to drink the Kool-Aid and just because the guy was a high pick, cheer about how good he is. If Sam Ehlinger had that same performance, we would probably say he should be 3rd string. It was a wasted pick, he is going to be a terrible failure as an ACCURATE, GOOD DECISIONS NFL QB, and I will look back at this 2-3 years from now when they have to clean house as him being what finally took it down. It is too bad, because I think Ballard is a good GM and I think Steichen could be a good coach. Gardner Minshew is clearly as better all around NFL QB than Richardson, but Irsay won't allow that to happen. Sad.
Oh well, Art Schlichter needs company as a bust #1 QB pick for the Colts Richardson will never come close to be anywhere near Jeff George's overall career.
I mean I'm not convinced he'll be great until he is actually great, but this is an extremely premature... opinion.

The guy is a whiner, but he’s right that our talent is pretty low overall. We seem to do this in waves, and we’re kinda in the talent trough.
-
I feel like we generally draft well, but the team never quite put everything together. Hoping it was a coaching issue and that now we’ll be fixed.
it’ll be interesting to watch the Panthers this year, too.

If we punt on first down we might actually make the game closer.

do we even have the draft capital for that?

Are we eliminated with a lost?
i feel like we were eliminated after game 4 tbh lol

Ryan still has a tear in his shoulder so he won’t have the arm he had before.

Their defense has almost as many sacks as we have completions.

Let’s fire one coach per week until we win a game. Also, this team is prob worse than 2011.

Sam was terrible.
No touchdowns and 200 yards passing
For a first game I'd say he did pretty good. Finally signs of life for the first time since Rivers. I doubt his ceiling is very high but at least he avoided what would have been like a 6 sack day if Ryan had played.

Bad bad game for Pittman.
he said % like "give me the ball" and then he drops it a lot. maybe he should stay quiet.
then again if i were coached by Reich i'd probably say % too lol.

Since AR is out I doubt we make any significant moves to improve our draft stock. Not going to win a championship with Minshew as our #1 sadly.
