    how so?

every QB has TOs that are not their fault so that will balance out

luck has made a lot of bad decisions to earn his spot in those rankings

If someone throws 50 passes a day and throws one interception per game vs. someone who throws 20 passes per game and throws an interception every other game, the once per game isn't as bad as a percentage of throws.

It's way too early I know, but can anyone think of a game we've won where Luck has played badly and the D/Running game got it done for him?

That would have required us to have one good running game under Luck, which if I remember correctly consists of... only this game. :(

So 3 weeks into Tom Brady's suspension and even after having his primary backup out for 1 game, the Patriots are 3 - 0.  That also includes Gronk missing some games.

Love him or hate him, Belichek outcoaches just about anyone in this league.  While he's willing to bend or break any rule that he thinks he can get away with, the man is unquestionably the best coach in the NFL.  He wins no matter who he has to send out on the field.

Honestly it makes you wonder if Tom Brady is even really that great of a QB or if he's just a slightly above average QB who happened to land on the team coached by Belichek.

Swap a healthy Tony Romo with a healthy Tom Brady for their careers.  Does Tony Romo win 4 SB's and Tom Brady lands the "can't win a playoff game" label??

I've been saying this for several years.  Cassel led them basically to the playoffs except for a tie breaker.  The #2 and #3 QBs on Patriots are winning games.  It's not Brady who is the superstar... it's Mr. Hoodie.  Brady would still do well on basically any other team because he's a good quarterback, but he would have never been in GOAT contention with Manning/Montana/etc. if it weren't for being under BB.  He'd probably be like a Carson Palmer or something overall skill-wise (very good but not top 5).

We're not laughing at them. They just received such hype...some (in fact quite a lot) people here (I mean in Hungary) thought here they'll beat the Pats. Now we saw that they aren't that good.

Sadly we were the pinnacle of overhype last season, and got decimated by the Jags and the Saints (which I won't ever forget because I went to that game and had to then drive four hours back to Chicago to work the next morning).  Lots of people were laughing at us (Colts) too :(

  5. O line seems better than last year (except in run game), so I'd have to go with someone on defense... probably LB because that's the weakest position...

... really any impactful LB we have had in the past.  Mike Peterson / Marcus Washington / anyone else I can't currently remember.

Also could use a pass rush so a young Freeney would be another great option like everyone else has said (even though not LB).

  6. First post!

Been lurking here for years, just never posted.

This game was completely disgusting until the Colts decided for some reason to Phoenix their way to life again.

And imagine that... short passes, getting TEs involved, and giving the ball to GORE actually works.  Maybe... just maybe... continue doing this for the rest of the games this year?  Please?

Here's to hoping defense doesn't turn to swiss cheese.
