Walden with Geathers not far behind.  I was really impressed with the 5 sacks yesterday.  That has to be a season high doesn't it?

I think that basically doubles our sack count for the year lol, so yeah I'd say a season high.

Last time, Luck torched that defense without Moncrief, Dorsett or Mewhort. Now he could have the luxury of some more time, and more weapons, plus playing at home, so there's no reason he shouldn't torch them again.

Granted, the Titans just killed a team the Colts only beat by 5. So who knows. I could see this game going either way and I wouldn't be surprised.

They did but if we hadn't nearly blown the lead it would look a lot different.  If we can get ahead and actually hold on for once (LOOOOOL) we should win it, especially with some of our big playmakers back.

  3. I never really liked Moncrief, he's decent but I feel he's overhyped.  And then this game happened, and I find myself disliking him even more.

Someone of his measurables should be much better.  And dancing in the endzone when you're getting destroyed by two TDs?  Reminds me of Sean Dawkins when the Colts were terrible and he was always dancing around while losing.  The holding call to bring it back made it look even more ridiculous.

And Dorsett has been a huge disappointment for a "best player available" pick.  If he was a 5th rounder maybe I'd be okay, but as a 1st rounder, total bust so far.

If our WRs cant grow up and make plays, they shouldn't be on the roster.

At least Hilton is doing alright (mostly) except for some silly plays where he runs out of bounds to avoid a hit one yard before a 1st down on 3rd down.

The problem is, we wouldn't beat the Steelers, KC, and possibly not even a team like the Raiders or Broncos. Another high quality draft is needed to catch up to the big dogs in a way where we can compete. Guess what, if we whiff on that draft, we're going to fall even further behind them, and more importantly, the AFC South.

This is what terrifies me.  In the past we could at least say "well at least we have a good draft pick."  As of right now that means nothing with a GM that doesn't know how to draft talent.  Without that salvation there's very little hope of turning things around.

  5. All hope died with the loss to KC.  It will take something short of a Bob Sanders resurrection to get this team into the playoffs now.  And to what end?  Are we seriously going to beat the Pats, or pray to the football gods someone else can do it for us before we have to face them in an AFCCG?

    Nope.

  6. I honestly don't care if the Colts lose every remaining game as long as the Patriots don't make it to the superbowl.  I never thought I'd hate a team more than I'd like my home team, but reality sets in I guess when you realize your team doesn't have a chance to win a wildcard game.
