Bears are lucky Moncrief was hurt otherwise Luck would've put up 40 points. It works both ways.

Moncrief is not good enough to offset just how bad our defense is lol, Kevin White against a terrible Colts defense >>>> Moncrief against any other team in the NFL.

I'll take then how ever they come,  but something has to give the worst def performance of the year when we are the healthiest, I'm baffled

Against a terrible team, no less.

This is our team.  This is what we look like healthy.  This legitimately frightens me.

This is a problem I've noticed.  We supposedly have fast receivers that should be able to get separation, but nobody seems to get open.  Part of it is Luck running for his life against top-tier defenses we've played so far and last week's O-line woes, but still... if we truly have elite receivers, they should be getting some big plays.

    Eventually.

    Hopefully.

If we don't get any big plays this week, there's really no excuse left.

No...so untrue if you were a fan since 1984....really

The early 90's were pretty rough.  I was a kid and got made fun of for being a colts fan when everyone was a bandwagon cowboys fan.  Those were rougher days.

It's mostly challenging now because we got spoiled under Manning/Harrison/Wayne/Edge/Mathis/Freeney/Sanders days, and now we suck when we have enough talent (especially with Luck) to be above average.

  5. At this point I don't know if I want us to win the division at 8-8.  It's very unlikely we make a superbowl run past the *s, broncos, or especially steelers with this team... and all it will do is drop us further down the draft pick totem.

If we are going to do bad, we might as well miss the playoffs and get some defensive difference makers.  The offense is okay and can survive how it is (it should really be better given the receivers and QB play, and I feel the O-line will eventually get healthy and gel to be at least average), but the defense is laughable.  Get some key defensive players (pass rush, LBs, another solid CB) and next year we have a good opportunity to make it.

Oh, and we should probably get coached better too.............

As a Colts fan I really hate to hear that, I really do. He is one of the faces of the NFL and I wanted Indy to beat them with him playing. You want to beat the best. Texans beat us last season without Luck and many didn't think that it felt right. Of course they were happy to win the Division but it wasn't the same feeling. I had a feeling they brought him back way too early. Once you injure your back you have to be real cautious.

My physical therapy person said the same thing.  They brought him back way too early, it was a matter of time for a guy his size, athleticism, and agility to re-injure himself.

So I repeat.. how many games can we recall where Luck has played like crap and the D has got it done.

Phew, it's ugly, but I'll take it.

Not many, but this one counts.

Actually overall Luck didn't do too terrible if you subtract the fumble and INT.  It just looked way worse than it was because of the O line.

Am I crazy for thinking it might be best to just tank and aim for a better draft position?  Try to obtain as many draft picks as possible and reload for next year.  This roster has no chance at making a run at a Super Bowl, even if we win today

    SUCK FOR LUCK!!!

    .... wait...
