I just dont see it with Datone Jones, Id rather grab Lemonier, Collins, or Moore in Round 3 assuming one of them is available.
Go either an OLB, CB, or OG with the 1st round or trade back to the 2nd round.

Should make some of us happy, that might be even slightly superstitious.

Yes, but in this case, drafting need vs. value would draft Elam about 10 or 20 spots higher than he really should be. Unless if Jones' medical issues (that have been cleared) still scare away a few teams, than it's pretty likely they could still take Elam.
Lots of mocks have Bengals taking a safety, and Jones could easily slip to late 1st round because his medical conditions still do scare a few teams
-
I'm just curious, was this a mock where you saved Jarvis for Indi? Because I think there were some very likely suitors to take him instead of their mock pick, such as Cincy picking Matt Elam
I do want Jarvis to fall to Indy, and while there were suitors for him, he very likely COULD fall to Indy. All the other suitors have other more glaring needs!
-
I'd switch Joeckel and Fisher....I would absolutely love for Jarvis Jones to fall to us at #24 though
Fisher and Joeckel are neck and neck, but Fisher does have the better ceiling

Good mock overall, but I have a few minor gripes:
I don't think Mingo will go before Ansah.
Trufant is a reach.
Werner is a 43 DE and the Saints play a 34.
If Cooper is available at 22 there's no way the Ram don't take him.
Many mocks have Trufant going even above Rhodes.
Ansah has all the potential in the world, but I think Mingo is the better player right now. Werner selection was a bit off, youre right.
I dont really think Cooper will fall to us but they have other glaring holes they need to fill.
-
I'd be very very very happy if we got Cooper.
He will fall to either the Cowboys, Bears, or us.
-
I'd be very very very happy if we got Cooper.
The steal of the draft will be the one who take Floyd in the second round
My bad on Floyd, I fixed that error
-
.......Sharrif Floyd?
Oh cant believe I forgot him, I knew I was forgetting someone. He could be inserted for the Eagles, Lions draft Eric Fisher, and move Lane Johnson to the Bills and take Geno out of the first round.

That last one could definitely happen
Its possible but at the same time Im wondering why no one on any mocks has Werner falling even in the 20s. I truly do believe we're going to get a very special person at #24. Every year some team over reaches for either a QB, RB, or a WR. This year I think there will be reaches for either Geno, Barkley, Lacy, Patterson, or even Hopkins.
Starter or replacement at #24?

Are we looking for an immediate starter or a player that is more of a project thatll eventually become a starter?
Positions we draft for immediate starters: OG, ILB, OLB
Positions we draft for projects/2nd strings: DE, CB, WR, FS/SS, C
