Who knows, maybe there is something lurking beneath the retirement that no one but a select few in Luck’s circle know about.
But I think he just didn’t feel like playing football anymore.

Missing top 2 WRs, all pro linebacker, star safety, and important run defender (against a team that is good at running). Oh, and our franchise QB called it quits a month ago.
If this team somehow can be 3-1 at the quarter mark of the season, that would be incredibly impressive.

This is a must win because you don’t want to go into the bye having lost two in a row.
Good thing we’ll be going into the bye winning 4 in a row

I ain’t sleeping on Oakland yet. Remember, they almost beat us last year too.

I feel like it’ll be a Sudfeild situation, where if a team tries to snatch him from the ps, the Colts will be quick to elevate him to the 53.
That is, if the team really is keen on his talent

Too early to tell. Plus the chargers really let that game against the lions slip away. Two missed kicks (oof) and a red zone picked doomed em.
But it I do love this nasty style of play our team plays with on both sides of the field. Now if we can get some downfield passing on offence and some more turnovers on defense, this team will be elite.

I've heard about it, but don't know any details. Are people really planning to storm a US Airforce base? If they tear down fences and damage property, I assume the military will use tear gas and such to stop them.
It's silly really. You claim to want to storm the base and find what they have been hiding. You give them a couple months notice on what you are going to do. If this were a bank robbery, the safe would be empty.

I'm happier with the D than the O, that's for sure. Still, I think our run D is suspect. Our D vs the pass may be a product of going against a horrible OL (LAC) and mediocre QB (TN). The good news is that we play ATL next and they have struggled to run and will likely be one dimensional.
I’m hoping the defense can pick off Ryan a few times

If you were an extremely talented individual working for a dumpster fire company, and you know that there are other high class organizations that would want your services, wouldn’t you also want out?
Theres nothing wrong with requesting a trade. It’s how these players handle said request and their subsequent behaviour after that determines whether the player is being selfish/a head case/a *.

I love how Leonard having 10 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble equates to a sub par game by his standards. Even when he isn’t at his best he’s still clearly one of the best players on the field any given down.

Seems like our schedule became insanely easier over night.

NE and KC are the clear crown jewels of the AFC. They are the obvious locks for January Football.
I'd say Indy is in the Tier 2 right now, with teams like Baltimore, LAC, Tennessee, Houston, and I'll even put Buffalo there for now.
8 teams, who as of right now look like playoff calibre squads to me. At least 2 of em won't make it. I absolutely think the Colts, led by Jacoby Brissett, can beat out 2 of those clubs (or more if teams like Cleveland and Oakland step up).
The Jets, Steelers (with Ben's injury), Dolphins, Broncos, Bengals and Jaguars will likely make up this seasons basement.

Tough loss, he was amazing week one. Looking for a big game from Houston

My guy was straight up flying. If the team dials up the right blitz packages, he'll get one home on Mariota. Tennessee's Oline don't scare me right now.

Remember when they blew out the patriots and proceeded to get physically destroyed by the colts a week later?
Yeah the same things about to happen

A tie is a loss because it's not a win and I guarantee you, if you polled every NFL player and coach, they all consider a tie the same as a loss.
Do you think the Cardinals and Lions both consider their tie as loses?

I’m not putting much stock into Tennessee destroying Cleveland. They got to beat us down next week for me to believe them. I still think Vrabel is average at best, as is Mariota.
Remember, Jacksonville destroyed New England last year in week 2. Don’t put too much stock on early season beat downs.

I was just listening to TY after the game. These guys are not down. He still says no one can stop them. He goes we just need to clean a few things up and we will be ok. We have players with great attitudes.

Wilson had a big flag and has under performed. I am fine with seeing what Rock can do.
Are you talking about the PI right before the end of regulation? It was the right call but it wasn't a terrible penalty. Just one of those 'it happens' type of plays. And it didn't cost the Colts anything. Game still went to OT.

Still to early to tell if the guy can be the franchise, but Jacoby clearly showed an ability to play winning football against a top notch squad on the road.
Let's see if he can handle Tennessee on the road. If he can, I'd feel really good about this teams division chances. -
I feel like our defense is set up for a good day against the Titans. We have the Dline to stuff Derrick Henry, and the Titans don't quite have the recieving threats that the Chargers do.
-
Those two back shoulder fades to Cain and Funchess back to back near the end of the first half were beauties.
That Charger defense is no joke. Great pass rushers, fast linebackers and rangy corners. Yet Brissett looked calm and poise against them.
