  1. The more I think on it, the more I actually think this was a very smart pick. With Andre aging, and Duron Carter being unproven, I think it was good we took a WR here. Forget about this season, with this pick, we've insured Andrew has tons of weapons to throw to for years to come. This is also gives us lots of depth at the receiving positions (TE's included). Someone gets injured, it's fine, we still got like 5 other guys who have the ability to catch the Football. Dorsett is gonna be a special player, Moncrief is gonna be a special player, and I think Duron Carter has the potential to be great too. It's good practice for our D too, having to play against such an explosive group. I mean, who are you supposed to guard? T.Y? Okay just throw to Dorsett deep. He's covered? Throw it underneath to Andre. All our WR's are covered? Throw to a TE. Everyone is covered somehow? Andrew can run. And even when the defense has the perfect coverage to stop everyone, dump it to Gore and have him grind it out.  I don't wanna get cocky obviously, but this group seriously has the ability to do something special.

Now just imagine if the line starts to play consistently..........

P.S These guys would also (theoretically) help the line too, as less guys would be blitzing and more LB's would have to go into coverage.

  2. We gotta sign AC long term. Dude is a baller. He and Mewhort were the only things keeping Luck alive last year haha

six sacks allowed in 2 years? Thats insane. I hope Mewhort can go play LG this season, to solidify that side completely. Herremans should improve the right side, so as of now we gotta solve the C and RT positions.

BTW, anyone hear anything about that Ben Heenan dude? I watch a bit of CFL games here in Canada, and whenever the Stampeders played, he looked really good (theres a reason he was a number one overall pick).

  3. The earliest I can see him sign with a team would be if a team got hit with an injury. Maybe it might be us, but I doubt it. I wouldn't mind if he went to like, Denver to play one last year with Peyton.

But regarding dropping Carter for him, nah I wouldn't do that. Reggie at most has one year left in him (or not, I really dont know anything, but its hard to see him play past 2015). Besides, if Carter flops, we can just drop him whenever we want. If we drop him now in favor of Reggie, that's one year of Reggie we get (probably). Meanwhile, Carter might turn into a star somewhere else for years. So in short, nah, i'd pass

Reggie will always be the man though
