One of the best games I've ever seen.
-
You gotta give credit to the Broncos D too. They were able to get to Big Ben, who lacked his usual mobility, and their coverage was spectacular.
Champ Baily in particular played great. He was all over the field today, and he really kept Mike Wallace in check. In fact, I think he had 0 catches in the second half.
-
All it took was one play in OT, incredible. The new OT rules didn't even get a chance to come into effect.
Tebow played great today. His throws downfield were more accurate than I've ever seen from him and what more can be said about Demitrius Thomas - that guy is a stud.
-
Nobody can cover Calvin Johnson out there. That's the only thing keeping the Lions in this.
-
Andre Johnson is the best there is
-
Antonio Smith again...
-
Ryan Whalen! Luck's favorite target coming up big!
-
Houstons D-Line is DOMINATING. JJ Watt, Brooks Reid, and Antonio Smith are devestating. Are Reid and Watt really rookies? They are looking like seasoned vets.
-
Wouldn't Cincy want to test Houston deep here? Right after one of their better defensive players got tired?
Didn't look too tired on that sack LOL
Man this guy has a gas tank too
-
Is there anyone more effective at deflecting/catching balls at the line of scrimmage than JJ Watts?
-
JJ Wattsssssssssssss

Texan's Left Tackle Duane Brown is soooo underrated. This guys was the only tackle in football this year to not give up a sack, and look at how effective he is in run blocking. All Foster's biggest runs have been to the left side so far.

First four rounds would look something like this:
1. Luck
2. Hosley/ Minnefield/ X. Rhodes
3. Marcus Forsten - DT - Miami - entering draft early
4. Chris Givens - WR Wake Forrest (also coming up early) or Jordan White - WR - WMU
I'm high on Adams too, but I doubt he goes any earlier than the 4th or 5th round.

Hmm... Spagnola Def. Coodinator, Martz as Off. Coordinator, Fisher as HC? Make it happen Jim!
-
Good for Mathis. He played like a beast all year for us. It will be very sad to see him go in the offseason, he was probably our best player all year long..

Luck is about as NFL ready a player you're gonna find. He has all the intangibles; Intelligent enough to recognize coverages, great pocket awareness, and the ability to make all the throws. Love the way he sold the PA on the Montgomery TD.
Mike Gundy and his staff have done a great job at recruiting talent for OSU. I thought they had stuck gold with Dez Bryant, and now they have a seemingly higher prospect in Blackmon. With new Offensive Coordinator Todd Muncin their offense was as good as ever. In fact they didn't fail to score under 30 points in any games this seasons, and that was going up against some pretty stout defenses with Texas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. In fact they were a double OT loss against Iowa St. from having an undefeated season.

Mr. Irsay stepped up the plate and did what had to be done. I still can't believe he actually did it, but I'm sure glad he did. Glad to see he still takes this franchise very seriously.

weeden outshines luck.
Lol, the same thing could be said about Keith Price outshining RGIII in the Alamo Bowl with his 7TD performance.
-
Sucks for Standord to lose the Bowl game because of poor kicking, but I'm happy for Okl. St., if you saw them play this year you knew they had something really going with that offense.
-
Justin Blackmon and Andrew Luck are delivering big time tonight
-
Love cheering for the underdog teams to pull off huge upsets. Couldn't have been happier than when Rams upset the Saints or when the Cheifs beat the Packers.
Too bad Dolphins blew a 17-0 first half lead over the Pats last Sunday

Can't wait for the Nebraska/ South Carolina game Monday. It will be interesting to see how well Jeffrey matches up against Alfonso Dennard.

Khalil would be the next best player available, although I would personally love to get Claiborne. This draft is a very strong draft for DBs however, so it is likely we could hold off CB in the first and still find real value in the second and third with guys like Chase Minnefield, Jayron Hoseley, Cliff Harris, etc. FSU's Xavier Rhodes might enter the 2012 draft and you have to figure his draft stock rose considerably after his performance in the Champs Sports Bowl where he held Michael Floyd to just one catch on six targets for just 8 yards, prior to him having to leave the game early. He was able to play very physical with Floyd, and at 6'2 there are few defensive backs in the NCAA that possess such a cobination of size and coverage abilities.
There are no DTs worthy of a second pick, but with the 33rd overall, it is conceivable that MSU's Jerel Worthy, Miss State's Fletcher Cox or Clemson's Brandon Thomas could still be on the board. Cox was a monster against Wake Forrest yesterday, filling running lanes, pressuring the quaterback, and even blocking field goals. Hurricane's Marcus Forsten is leaving school early as well and could be available in the 3rd.
It is unrealistic to assume we can fill our teams needs in just one NFL draft, and if Reggie leaves, that is a void that may have to be addressed next year. But there is still plenty of sleeper potential available in later rounds for this position,

Had a great showing today against NorthWestern in his final appearence for the Aggies. Caught 7 balls for 119 and a TD. His TD was really a beautiful catch where he showed tremendous body control and went up and attacked the ball,
I think this draft has so many good DBs it would be a shame not to grab a few of the top guys with our early picks and find a sleeper pick on a WR in rounds 4 or 5. I love Western Michigan's Jordan White and Wake Forrest's Chad Givens, and people on this board seem to be very high on the Hurricane's Tommy Streeter, who I couldn't see going any earlier than Hankerson went last year.

5 TDs for Brady in the first half... this is getting really ugly if you're a Broncos fan.
