A lot of O-lines have 1 or 2 big name guys or 2-3 high draft picks (rounds 1-2). Unfortunately, we do not have enough draft picks to address all our needs.

but we wont get him, he already said on the radio, anything at this point would be better than current--- but "why would we want him" is due to comparison to other players and capabilities vs. cost and weighing that with our cap issues, which are huge issues right now.

But it's all well and good sitting here saying 'we should sign Ben Grubbs or Carl Nicks' - we can't afford that type of player.

We are more suited to bringing in players like Mathis, Jake Scott, Geoff Schwartz, Hutchinson, Brisiel, Rachal/Snyder etc. We won't be able to spend big bucks, we just need to bring in some cheap, reliable players for a bit.
