Yeah. If the colts will trade, Grigson shouldn't take the risk of trading for a player, he should trade for a draft pick. It is more valuable.Oh, shucks -- we traded him for David Fluellen who isn't around anymore. I forgot we traded him, I thought we released him, but when you mentioned that I was hoping we'd be getting a decent draft pick out of it. Oh well.

I still think Pat McAfee is going to be a dual threat as punter and kicker (or triple threat if you count kickoffs, too) when AV decides to hang them up. I don't think we have much need to worry about AV at this point in time. Like BrentMc said, he'll know best when it's time for him to hang them up. If for some reason he starts struggling mid-season next year, we've got Pat on board.
On a side not, I found it interesting Cody Parkey (who we brought in during training camp and released) was the other probowl kicker.
Parkey was traded to the Eagles.
-
Then why even do it? Beyond stupid as there was clearly no need for the Pats to resort to such cheap tactics.
Yeah seriously. If the pats can learn (they won't) the Colts will beat them next year at home, that game next season should be the most highly anticipated game of next season for both teams and the NFL.

So now the Colts went from having a good amount oF ILBS to none.
I don't see McNary or Jackson being here by the new league year.
Now ILB is a huge need in free agency and/or draft.
-
Colts will beat New England once th NFL cracks down on them cheating; if they ever will. Illegal substitutions and deflategate, in one game! Lets go Colts.
-
What does this mean? They could release him and wouldn't have to pay him?
-
What has happened to Hugh Thornton, why are we dismissing him.
Unless you can name the backup LT, LG, and RT, then I think the Colts should sign/ draft a LT, LG, and RT. We are lucky Castonzo and Mewhort haven't gotten hurt because we have NO depth at OL; which is a large problem.

I am pretty sure everyone is just about done with Richardson. I was a supporter of him too, longer than most, but there can only be 53 players on the roster and we can get better RBs.
-
So the Colts just need to eat the over 3 million in cap money due to Richardson instead of using him as a blocker or to catch passes out of the backfield?
-
I mean I don't care if the Colts get him or not, but Colts should definitely release Richardson and not resign Bradshaw
That would leave us with Herron, a questionable Ballard, and that's it. I say we draft Tevin Coleman and sign someone like Gore or a different FA RB. Colts should roll next year with 4 rbs.
-
At the bottom of the page it says Gore is curious about playing with Andrew Luck.
Should the Colts be interested in him?

If he isn't resigned by SF, and if the Colts opt not to resign Bradshaw or to sign another RB, then I think the Colts should take a shot at him.
Thoughts?

Marcus Hall, OG, was waived in favor of Burton.
-
Drafted in the 5th round in 2011 and was considered one of the best CB prospects for the draft. He has been on the Vikings, Bills, and Bengals. He was recently released by the Bengals and according to, yes, Bleacher Report he has been signed by the Colts( claimed off of Waivers). So as of now, no Flowers or Houston. Good luck to him!

nope #56 i also was think that for some reason
Ok, it's just that on Wikipedia it says otherwise,
I dont know why.

Super Bowl. I believe the Super Bowl tickets is higher than pro bowl and the pro bowl will leave Hawaii soon. The Super Bowl also has way. Ore cool activities and it has a lot of hype around it.
-
ThanksDoesn't really make a difference. Both are interchangeable. FS typically plays single-high, deep-zone center-fielder and SS cover the slot receivers/TE. But like I said, they both interchange periodically.
-
I was wondering, why does Landry start at FS, and whoever else, Howell, FA, whatever, start at SS, shouldn't it be the other way around?
-
We already have receivers who have potential. We need a safety, cornerback, and defensive line but WR. It just doesn't make sense, I thought with the new regime Jim Irsay said he wants to have a balanced team with defense. Obviously not looking like it, I am a bit dissapointed, I know he is a good player but there are way more pressing needs. Forgot to mention pass rusher, we need that too.
-
Grigson better get it right in the next rounds...
-
He was a Bronco last year
Oh weird, I checked and it said Broncos.
